Wtf was the rush ending???? They ruined a perfectly good slow burn, the ending was literally someone jumping at you from the bushes. I still liked the whole thing, but it would've been even better if they didn't slap us with low quality development in the last few chapters. Idk their whole relationship seems forced, specially Shin's feelings. Idk argh it's so frustrating

This was such a good read, I can't wait for more chapters. The complexity of the characters is so intriguing. Even after knowing everything Lydia did to the mc, I can't bring myself to completely hate her. Her past self was the worst, sure she had suffered in every corner of life, but she used her own daughter to fulfill her own twisted desires. Only when she lost her did she realize what she had done. The reason why I can't completely hate her is because she hates her self more than anyone, she regrets it and cherished her daughter more than her own life. I also like her because of her feisty personality. She's a very morally grey character.
MC is a ray of sunshine, pure and innocent. She's quite literally the "salvation" of all the main characters
I really hope that Atil also gets his character development, I mean he's already the prototype of "touch my sister and you'll die" but I'm expecting more depth.

In order to understand the whole situation and especially what's Rintaro is saying about his appearance, we need to understand that Japan is a homogeneous society. It's kinda hard to wrap my head around the whole conflict between the two schools, cause for sure there are bad apples in every school but you don't demonize the rest of the students because of them. Maybe it's not so far fetched considering the Japanese societal view of being associated with something bad = you're also bad. Idk, maybe it's just the manga....
This story was an 11/10 especially since I began reading it and thought it would be super predictable. The characters had grey undertones, no one was perfect... I specially liked the development of how they got closer. Both ML's uncle and FL's sister needed a person to blame, but the king was much worse then the sister of course. I ended up liking Arwin way more than I expected.
If you want to actually read something intriguing and interesting, then this hits the spot.

I read this today, and I found some chapters very funny. Honestly I was glad mc left the scene to kinda distant himself from ml.Ml made me extremely furious in many chapters, and the whole "I'm losing my mind because he's gone" was very predictable and kinda hard to buy. Idk it just felt like it was the only thing the author could make up to bring them back together. I was absolutely heartbroken when the innocent bodyguard. I'd love to read Jiwon's story, I hope he finds someone to spend his life with. All in all, I think the story's good. I'd probably re read it after a few years.
