Dick is short for Richard and is a very commonly used diminuative - it has nothing to do with his supposed attributes

I would preffer they called him just Richard - it sond normal. while dick sound like well a dick, you doing sex with. not a very good name in my opinion. unless it a joke to say the MC will get his dick by the end of this manga XDD but it's not very funny.

It is, as I said, a fairly common name (even childrens stories "Dick and Jane", presidents Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon, Dick van Dyke, Dick Cavet, Dick Clark. you just seem to be upset that the slang for penis is the same) It is not meant as a joke.

I am pretty sure Dick was a name before becoming associated with the male sex organ. As stated above it was used as a rhyming scheme for Richard-Rick-Dick. There really isnt anything wrong with the name Dick. I mean do you get this upset when you see the name Gina? I knew guys that would refer to girls as Gina short for vagina.

It's called improvements

The art has changed dramatically... which is too bad because the first few chapters were pretty exquisite. But that happens a lot with online manhwa and webcomics, the quality of the art loosens once the story picks up and the artist rushes in order to fulfill deadlines.

People just don't like him. I'm guessing the more extreme reactions are from you her readers? Lol. Who else would react that's way.

I just don't get the pure hate for no big reason for it.

This guy is the cause for his brothers rape/suicide whether he meant it or not, and still treats his brother like trash. You would think he'd have learned his lesson and treat his brother nicer after that but nothing's changed - he's still purely selfish and has a woe-is-me jealous personality. Maybe if he was less selfish he could as popular as his brother, but he doesn't get that.

If you haven't read the latest chapters, maybe that's why you still have hope for him. He continues to get worse and worse. He shows no remorse for his brother's rape and attempted suicide and continues to try to feed him to the wolves. There is nothing redeeming about his behavior. I know people can relate to his inferiority complex, but there is a lot more to him than that, and none of it is good.

Did I miss the part where anyone said Joohoon is good but Jiwook is evil? They are both evil.

Look, I am a pretty understanding and open-minded person, but I don't understand your stance. Let's lol, at the facts for starters. What has Jiwook done, and what has Jiwook not done?

He didn't directly rape his brother. True. That doesn't make him a good person. That's, ahem, fairly normal. What he has done:

-Blamed Siwon for his inferiority complex and said cruel and hurtful things to him while relishing in Siwon's pain. He even admitted that to himself, so this is not open to interpretation.

-He deliberately made Joohoon furious and then told Siwon he needed help and sent Siwon to meet Joohoon.

Let's pause for a second. This is where a lot of people defend Jiwook and say this was not an evil thing to do, it is true that he didn't know Joohoon was going to make a porno of Siwon getting gang-raped. But there are two major flaws with this logic. First, it was vividly portrayed in several chapters that Jiwook knew that Joohoon was a twisted psycho. He said that when he was angry, he was incomprehensible cruel and sadistic. He knew that Joohoon was going to do something reprehensible to Siwon. That's what he wanted. He said he was going to set Siwon up. He deliberately hurt his brother, but just didn't want to have to do it himself.

The second flaw in that logic is that Jiwook's actions after the incident speak volumes. As far as he knows, his brother then attempted suicide but survived. So what did he do when he came home? He told him he should have died and that he was embarrassed to go to school with a fucking loser brother. He got a hold of the rape video (Yeah, he saw that video, and he knows what happened) and he put it in Ahn Jaeseo's locker hoping he would blackmail "Siwon."

In the latest chapter, Jiwook is still trying to get Joohoon to "take care of Siwon." He knows that guy had his brother gang raped, but it wasn't enough. He wants him to do more. He's delighted when Joohoon says he will enjoy his "grand finale."

Considering everything that he has done, I am quite curious as to what you think someone would have to do to be considered a bad person. And who do you know IRL who does shit like this? You should probably call the police if you really do.

from the chapter I read, in here mangago - it very simple. the bro don't want to lose the place he think "he have" with the crazy guy, knowing he is crazy. and he is kind of scared of him not less from his twin taking his so called "place" in life.

the proof is the way he watch him (crazy guy) after he meet his twin.

Okay, I don't even know where to start with this mess. I did not say everyone has to “pure hate” Jiwook. Where did you get that from? My claim that he's evil is not stupid. What makes Jiwook evil is not the fact that he is jealous of his brother, though, if you want to get technical, envy is one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and sinning is evil. By definition. No, what really makes him evil is that he is deliberately hurting his brother. Did you read what I said? I don't care if Jiwook is scared of Joohoon. I don't care if he is jealous of Siwon. I care that he set him up to be destroyed by Joohoon. He did that deliberately. Siwon was raped because Jiwook set it up. Jiwook didn't feel bad about the fact that his brother was raped. Jiwook saw the video of his brother being raped and gave the video to the bullies. Reread the story if you think that didn't happen. It did. After Siwon was raped, Jiwook went out of his way yet again to set Joohoon on him. I don't care how much you want me to cry fucking waterfalls for Jiwook because people gave more compliments to Siwon. I don't care. Siwon would not have been raped if it wasn't for Jiwook. Jiwook intended for it to happen. Jiwook is doing everything he can so that Siwon will go through even more hell. Joohoon said he had something planned for him that's worse than what he has gone through so far. He's going to do something worse than rape. And Jiwook told him to hurry up and do it.

If Jiwook's actions are driven by his fear of Joohoon and he is trying to avoid him, then why did he call him up in Chapter 49 asking him to take care of his brother already?

I know a lot of people blame everyone else for their problems. Just because he does something that lots of other morons do doesn't make him any less evil.

Don't tell me I haven't met crazy people before. I have. I have met both crazy people and evil people. They are not always the same. It is not normal to send your brother to get raped and tortured, and to enjoy it. Your normal meter is messed up. Please don't tell me you think that's normal. It's not. Don't tell me it's not evil. Siwon would be alive and well and happy if it wasn't for Jiwook. And that is the way he wanted things to go. He wants to take down his brother. He wants to hurt him. He feels no remorse. And his jealousy is not a form of love. You don't send someone you love to get raped over and over again.

I don't know know why you keep bringing up the fact that's Joohoon has committed worse acts. Like, no shit.

Jiwook's intent was still for something horrible to happen to Siwon. Did he order the rape himself? No. Would he have stopped the rape if he was there, most likely not. So, by being complicit in the crime by sending Siwon, there he is just as guilty.

It's not a battle of comparing who is worse. People can still see that Jiwook is a bad guy despite him not being the person who does the dirty work.

Also, it's an insult to people who do have mental illnesses that they can't control themselves not to commit crimes. What's Jiwook did was clearly calculated. He wasn't suffering from a psychotic episode. Does he need therapy? Probably. Does his complex serve as an excuse for his crimes, no. He was in his right mind when he set off the chain of events.

Okay, I think get what you are saying now. Let's see if I can answer your question then as to why people are so upset with Jiwook when he is the mini asshole and clearly not as important, evil, or intimidating as Joohoon. I think most people, myself included, count Joohoon as the main villain, but we find ourselves really disgusted with Jiwook. The reason for that is that even though Joohoon is more horrible overall, the fact that Jiwook did and does horrible things to his brother is, in some ways, worse. To Joohoon Siwon is barely even an acquaintance, whereas to Jiwook, he is his twin brother. Betrayal from a brother is deeper and more insidious than betrayal from someone with whom you have no connection or loyalty to. Does that make sense? I agree that Jiwook is lame compared to Joohoon, and I don't think he is going to be the main villain because he's about to get annihilated by both Joohoon and Woojin. He's an idiot who is practically begging for everyone around him to kill him and put him out of his misery.

The people were responding stating reasons why people don't like Jiwook and why they think he is still a bad person.

They also pointed out that Joohoon also gets hate comments. Both Joohoon and Jiwook get hate comments.

The difference is we already knew Joohoon is bad. The hate comments for Joohoon came out ages ago when he was introduced.

People have recently been commenting a lot about Jiwook because the full story about what happen in Siwon's rape was revealed. Now they know Jiwook for the bad guy he is. The outrage at Jiwook is deserved and understandable.

The reason the other people got frustrated with you is because your arguments about why people shouldn't be upset with Jiwook don't really make sense.

BTW, the look of fear in Jiwook's eyes was from him being afraid of Joohoon taking more of an interest in Siwon. NOT because he was afraid Joohoon would hurt Siwon... He ran away with Siwon because he didn't want Joohoon to continue to interact with Siwon and like him more.

Anyway, I just think that you should keep an open mind and actually read the comments that try to give you an explanation for why Jiwook has been getting hate.

If the latest chapters on here are about Jiwook being exposed as the unscrupulous guy he is, then of course the most recent comment will be hating on Jiwook (he deserves it).

i get your whole human approach at looking to Jiwooks behavior but evil in definition in regards to the characters {including Joohoon} doesn't exclude Jiwook regardless of the greater evil or mini evil. plainly put they are both equally evil.
one is a selfish half assed inferiority complexed jealous angry wants to take over his brothers position using whatever method stupid brother. while the other is some bored sadistic moody looking for interesting things to do by playing around with, manipulating and taking advantage of peoples feelings without a sense of remorse using whatever method to entertain himself. this so called greater evil, if anything the two need each other, they have no hesitation whatsoever in terms of means and methods to achieve what they want.
evil is evil, greater or mini, doesn't change the fact that the evil twin brother is equally guilty in his wrong doing in comparison to Joohoon.
