For some reason, the demon prince is my favorite out of potential romance. They both stand at equal ground with each other in my perspective. The three knights seem to follow her lead more so, while the demon prince provides equal grounds where both parties can take from each other. It creates an interesting dynamic because the prince is clearly using her but also acknowledges that Mizuki is only ever doing so because she WANTS to. I dont know if people understand what I'm getting at, but this type of dynamic is interesting and provides a challenge. Also the fact that both parties hold high regards with each other in power, intellect, and wit.
Also, I hope the day comes when I can see what happens if Mizuki ever declines a request. That could make or break future potential since it could either make the demon prince an asshole or a potential romantic partner.
Love how people associate victims of long term abuse and trauma as timid. Get off your damn electronic and learn that mental health is extremely important and that you just can't "get over" all that trauma and abuse you receive. OF COURSE, miss girl is going to be timid and scared and unsure. She lived inside a palace her entire life with little to no education and was abused. She doesn't have any goal or ambition because she didn't have the opportunity to learn what other things she can desire except yearn for love from her family that only abused her. Not to mention the fact that peeps be acting all brave thinking they could stomach an entire city in a bloodbath with gore splattered everywhere, entrails and blood piled in troughs, and scents of putrid rotting flesh and iron. The art makes it look less gory and horrid, but the reality is that it'll make a single person not used to blood and death and decay feint or puke. (For example, look at the Tokyo Trails about the Human Experimentation Group. When they presented the photos of the experiments, many people fainted, cried, or puked.)

I definitely understand the FL's distrust in other's love. While I may not have it as bad as hers, my distrust in love lies solely on romantic relationships. It's honestly scary to be able to open up to someone and give them all your love and trust, only for them to crush it into pieces.
