I wish that the side story explored Lyle being more comfortable in his opinions and identity around Ash. He seems to always be concerned with what will make Ash upset or angry or whatever, when bro needs to grow a backbone and understand that he is not some kid looking for his parents permission. This doesn’t mean Lyle can’t be shy or anxious about anything, but he should be comfortable around Ash and this side story is just solidifying that he not half the time mentally
