I freaking love this story! It only has 28 ch, most manwhas take forever for the plot to move making them longer. I personally like the slow glimpse of the past mixed with the present moving normally with good spiciness. And am enjoying their relationship even with the toxic traits and the internal conflict of the Mc. I do hope Mc lets himself be loved by everyone sooner rather than later. Still, cannot WAIT to understand why MC’s sunbae of the past is definitely ML. Why the lil bro seem to know something, and why in the original novel was ML using MC to get the protagonist…like was it an obsession at first sight? Or was it for something else. Since he is capable of loving the MC so I wonder what was he's craziness with wanting Woo Jinn. And ML is FIIIIINNNEEE! Goodness his face, smile, dimples, tattoo EVERYTHING!! Doesn't take away that he's a dumb dumb, but I'll let him take me. I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!
I'd why I made myself read this knowing that there has not been an update for so long I’m curious where this go, even though I'm not a fan of realistic royals where they have multiple spouses. Because now I don't want him to share but what's going to happen when Nathaniel has his heat, will he not complete his duties? That's gonna be hard to read through if its found out that it happens. Also even if in the past life the king didn't care about the guy Mc filled in for, I would be disappointed to find out he didn't care about his son enough to protect them.

This definitely sounds like an amazing plot, but I'm not really good with watching kids corpses even when it's drawn. That look of the little girl dead and then putting her undressed body in a container was a hard watch and that's just the fist chapter. But this sounds like an amazing survival story so I'm conflicted.
I think is more shounen ai than Yaoi right? Unless something happened already, I'm behind some ch.

I'm a sucker for this type of story even when the alpha has no care for other humans that normally makes me uncomfortable in other stories.
I started this story and I know I was really into it. But so long has passed that I'm scared of picking it up to get into the past
People in the comments are terrifying excusing certain things that could be different just because it’s a shit world. Scratch just the fact of the trial, which if that's how you wanna live oh well. (reasons why in these stories like TWD I would seriously just kms don't want to deal with other selfish and crazy humans who've been waiting for this) But the way he went and killed that family of the vet when they posed no threat? That was disgusting. Just say “sorry won't work” and move on (which clearly he is mentally deranged so of course not) and the fact that the vet stayed is more crazy. And probably did so many other times. I honestly wish they lowered the smut because this is a good plot for horror but the switch of them getting it on and Mc’s more than conflicted feelings are hard to read and definitely wouldn’t want MC losing his mind and becoming as deranged as him. At the beginning was pretty hot (by forcing myself to forget that he threw up because of the kiss), but having smut after what happened made me nauseous. I really enjoy this crazy story and can't wait to find out what the heck is there more to uncover, but with their situationship, it's not my type of toxic I guess, and if he did killed his father for no reason just like the vet's fam that's gonna be a rollercoaster.
I do like this author so I do have curiosity as to whether this will be a purposely bad ending, or in what unrealistic way they'll make their relationship have a good ending.
If you make me suffer for 60 ish ch, I demand 60 ish side stories of fluffyness! Im glad how they went on getting back together, but definitely lack of communication and people hiding things from them made their life hell.
