This would have been perfect if they hadn't shown the sexual abuse for the “ritual”. You could have allude to it and move on. And I'm confused, the ML knew Mc was suffering in the past, so much so that he got mad for someone daring to calm him filthy for what was happening to him. This shit happens in real life and if at the end the message is adapt yourself to live in this hell and survive in a abused eviorement in a fake happy relationship. That's when I'll think this is a horrible story.
