I think this is going to be really good if the author continues to give it the time it needs. Hopefully it doesn't get dropped or rushed by editors etc. I really like the characters, there's clearly more to Gabriel than meets the eye. It's obvious whatever he injected saved the second-cousin from a much much horrifyingly worse fate. His capture was inevitable, clearly the Don-uncle is a fucking Psycho and i truly hope he, The Don, dies a truly painful death along with his willing goons.

I hope Gabriel gets a chance to tell Davina the actual shit show he's in so she won't blame herself for "helping". He's as much a victim, as any other and only trying to protect his son too.
