I don't like the logic/solution that she needs to be very lovely, harmless and lucky to gain the favour of a merciless arrogannt psycho manchild or any dumbed down MLs!
Melissa from "Beware of the Villainess" shits on the novel's MLs and uses her knowledge about the plot to screw them over very hard!!!
Badass Bitch Queen is able to be rude and shameless at her own fictional father and brother! ^^

That post-apocalypse story is so much more hopeful and livelier than Girls' Last Tour/Shōjo Shūmatsu Ryokō.

Why does the MC/Uke always get attacked by a jealous spoiled bitch and gets so easily abducted or kidnapped by a psycho stalker and the ML is the only one who can save him in a grand sensation...?
It is kinda stupid, if you think about it.

Why is it that the MC always has to suffer under the crazy bitch childhoodfriend is madly in love with the cold immature rich ML and hires thugs to kidnapp; torture, rape and kill him!!!??? At least the MC managed get himself free and harm one of theses two thugs with a broken glass.
It always ends with the two leads realizing their love for each other after going through caused by the incompentence of the ML :(

Can someone here please explain to me why these authors keep using this hellish toxic plot device???

In many Asian dramas or melodramatic romance stories the two MCs always forgives or let the stalking obsessive psycho antagonist pretty much unscratched even though they have leverages, opportunities or resources to take them down for good.
It is so infuriating that they let them off so easily because they are so closely related to them or have a tragic mental background...

That story just frustrates me too much because the MC keeps suffering under multiple antagonists.
Feminine heroines like Jupiter Jones from Jupiter Ascending has more spunk and balls.
