the thing i hate about being in a relationship the most is when the other person refuses to explain anything when a certain problem pops up on his end and is obviously not something to be disregarded. i hate it more when the other person says that you don't need to know either because it's "unimportant" when it sure as hell is, or because "you simply don't need to know"!! WTF!!!!

does the roommate couple have an appearance here? do they????

Hae-in is all over this manhwa, I'm sure you know, but in Chapter 15 p.7 &8 Min and Hae-In appear, and though it's only two pages, it's important because it's a lead-in to Stop at the Red Light..
They are in Stop at the Red Light Chapter 1-8, of course, but they also have a brief appearance in chapter 11, p 13-16. Hope that answers your question.

don't get me wrong, feilong is an amazing character, really...but i just hope akihito and asami will reunite without asami lying and rejecting akihito for the younger man's safety!! i brought up fei up because what if asami uses him to ward off aki??? i know i'm getting over my head here, but hey, can't blame me for being paranoid while waiting for the next chap...!!!

I so need to see Aki "step up his game." It certainly seems like that's how this is being set up, with Hot Monk training him in defensive arts and the foreshadowing of the cover of volume 8. I feel like this is where the manga NEEDS to go. That it's time for this kind of growth. I will say though that I don't think Aki is outclassed so much as he's always been out-manned or handicapped by recklessness. Because he has skills. We've seen him use them before, but he's been in so many situations where the odds were stacked against him. I think--I hope that this time, we'll see him wrestle with his own morality, which seems to have been set up in this arc as his handicap. Will he be able to shoot to kill if it's what he has to do to save Asami?

haha, I'm so looking forward to them reuniting, and just worrying on the side that Asami will pull a sorry lame excuse to push Aki away. I know it'll be for his safety but I believe Aki's safer being with Asami (though he'd get to witness Asami's ultrasadistic side. I'm still wondering how Aki will react to that. So far all I've got is that Aki will take pity on whoever's being tortured and might speak up to Asami about it...)

I am reminded once again why I love to see you posting here, dear eworth. :) I think you put that perfectly. That is exactly what I want and need to see in terms of character and plot development. And like you, I have high hopes that this is where we are headed (including the bit about the v8 cover foreshadowing, I am literally itching to see that play out). So let's keep your fingers and toes crossed, ey?

Exactly. Plus (and people forget this at times) Fei is seven years older, wiser and has seven years more life experience than when he first met Asami. He is no longer that very young and a little lost young man who was still rathrer naive at the time. He survived prison, he took control of and rebuilt Baishe, he has maintained at the top. He is strong. He is not a tool to be played with.

On a total ying and yang way of looking at Takaba and Asami , Takaba's real power is what he holds over Asami . His powerlessness in Asami's sphere,to me, is offset by what Takaba holds behind the scenes, which he never really uses. He remains clueless of his real power and how to use it or does he? So much of what lies between them is left unspoken so that the reader uses their imagination and the writer draws you in for more. All those lines dangle out there in the breeze that she can pick up and answer or not. This ia just my op. but to me Takaba whole seeking was not really abt Asami but himself. Asami always saw Takaba as a man. It was Takaba who was seeking himself. Trying to find his own sense self .

I know what you mean, eworth, I feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, I love the art and the eroticism and the red hot monkey sex, but I need a good plot and good character development, the build up, the climax withhin the story and as you said, a good and satisfying payoff. Doesn't matter if it's a book, a movie, a TV show or, well, a bit of Yaoi. :) And I have to say I am very happy with the story at the moment. For me, the penthouse attack was a real game changer. Anything (or almost anything) seeems possible at the moment - and with everything to play for, including their lives. For a story to go this strong after 15+ years, that is an accomplishment in itself. And one that sensei can and should be very proud of.

Yes, exactly! I find sensei very hard to predict, which is a plus in my book and ratchets up the tension. But I trust her to bring things around to a satisfying resolution, like Temporary Paradise was such a perfect wind down to the long, tense, frustrating Naked Truth arc. And yes, one of the things that impresses me about her is how she took what started as a one-or-two shot and has spun it into a 15+ year series, developing characters and a relationship out of standard yaoi tropes without betraying those tropes. I always think of Finder as a kind of uber-yaoi. Other yaoi have come along in the intervening years that have shattered the tropes, and they are wonderful in their own right, but I think it takes great skill to play within the boundaries of what we consider a classic yaoi and keep it relevant over so many years, so many chapters.

and so much fashion. She kept them in style over 15 years. Taking Asami from his long coat and Takaba punk look of the late 90's. Updating Asami's suits and ties. She plays at the boundaries indeed. Thinking of Takaba , ihis angst , of being a 23 year old and having to compare himself to Asami as a man. Am I really good enough, should I be here. He is a man(want's to feel like a man) making his own way in the world was so important to him in the story at one point. Wanting to prove to himself he was a man even though he did not have to prove it to Asami.

I'm kinda dissatisfied with the first story. I at least wanted a chapter told in Natsume's point of view since his decision in the end decided who ended up with who. I don't like how he said he could never forget about his ex-lover, then declare in public that he loves Asahi the most. I get it that forgetting ex-lovers are not as easy especially when they reappear in your life but I just really wanted Natsume's full thoughts about the situation.... Meanwhile, I can relate with Natsume being abused by the cats HE had picked up. I also picked up two strays on separate occasions but it annoys me how those two were more friendly and loving towards my older sister but give me (aka. their savior) the cold shoulders. I only ever received bites and scratches from those two but I can't completely hate them either as I'm a cat person.... ╥﹏╥

To me it seemed more like his relationships with the other people where shallow and always ended, so he didn't want that for the kid and just wanted to remain as family since that would bind them together forever. So then that thot comes back into his life and pushes himself in and the other guy let's him because he thinks that way they can continue to be a family. But when he realizes that it didn't work and the kid starts avoiding him and almost sleeps with that one stranger he becomes extreamly jealous and nd desperate because he never thought of that possibility that they would be seperated. Thus they stay together and the story ends.
while he (Rikka) was frozen in shock, the wedding was completed
...what a great way to get hitched!!
I just love reading the intro!! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
