I actually like the ML a lot.
Elise has mentioned it but a lot of people seem to be confused since she doesn’t go into detail. This is very obviously implied but she has gotten people killed in her last life and was an extreme bully (physically and mentally) to everyone, which is why she was killed. They wouldn’t just kill her for nothing. Although, this IS hard to remember or understand considering the 180 between past her and recent her. She basically became the sweetest person in the world after living a second life.
ML did not like her in the beginning BECAUSE she was a known troublemaker (downplaying it tbh)/ bully. She was quite literally implied to be rude and a bitch. So I don’t see why people were expecting Linden to like her off the bat. Her family grew used to her goodness after a few weeks because they were constantly around her. Linden wasn’t. Anyway. I LOVE THE BOTH OF THEM. Tbh, all the characters other than the ones who planned Linden’s mothers death were great. Awesome story, I loved the doctor aspect of it.
Another thing though, that I found really funny, was that she claimed she wasn’t a genius but was able to do many different incredibly dangerous surgeries with older equipment and still save everyone. She was by NO means just your average surgeon, LOL. But I love that humility of hers, so (´∀｀)

you go ruby, but also. this chapter depicting the corruption of this world sucks. as in, i feel bad about everything everyone in the industry had to go through. i know most people are worried about the aqua ruby situation but knowing everything that has been happening in recent chapters sucks. plenty of the girls admitting the horror of the entertainment industry, how they're forced to "play" around with old men for success, or fame. it blows, i cannot imagine the trauma it must have caused some of these characters and how it's affected them. the sheer amount of SA mentioned in this manga is huge and everyone is questioning ruby, talking shit about the direction, as if what she is experiencing is uncommon (it's not btw) because of her lack of mental help, of reliable family, or proper understanding of love. ruby needs help but all people in this comment section see is a twisted girl who likes her brother, such lack of empathy man.

no way you people are this gullible???? they obviously were never going to give dan such a good offer, esp when what he said was true. there probably ARE better physical therapists than him that they could get, they just want dan to do jaekyung in. while jaekyung is a bastard, dan gets NOTHING from going with scummy people who recruit people from illegal rings. so it would be pointless to go with THAT job vs jaekyung rn. plus, yes, he does still like jae so be fr why would he ever pick some asshole who is trying to slyly manipulate him?

Such a well written story with a good focus on plot and not overly focused on romance is hard to come by, but I actually really enjoyed it. I’m so sad to hear it didn’t do well when it was originally being released. It’s crazy how stories with much worse plot and writing can do better simply because of some extra NSFW scenes. Regardless, I enjoyed this read–and the romance–a lot. I would definitely recommend! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
