They made a promise in the beginning of the few chapters, if dohyun remembers their past, sungho would release him. But even when he already remembered, Sungho still intend to keep him. He even tried to touch dohyun against his will again.
After he went out of the room, that's when Dohyun recall back that he once found a dog, but the dog died. Life is fickle, the real owner of the dog doesn't even know if their dog was still alive or not.
And he thinks it's the same in his case.
if sungho keep him alive, life's still gonna be tough out there.

I agree with everything except for the conclusion. I think it's more like he lost the will to keep fighting since all that happens to him is pain and suffering.
This manga about boys love lack "love"? It felt empty and didn't have any character development. The characters didn't even seem in love. I wonder if the author knows what love is.
i think that was the point riku only went on past lovers emotion to be with the vampire he doesn't necessarily love the vampire himself the librarian is also not in love with the vampire just a somewhat unhealthy desire of saving a life despite what was done to him don;t think it's meant to be a love story a just a story of capturing

I saw the raws so I haven't read the last 2 chapters. Instead of feeling the second hand embarrassment I bet most of you felt, I am trying to wait till the conflict is resolved. So could one of you tell me if it's safe for me to read.
Safe to read= conflict is resolved/much lower. I will be able to binge read all the episodes and by the end the awkward situation will be resolved.
