Being a mom myself, especially when you're a first time mom, you need a lot of support from family. You can't be expected to be perfect in everything, but surprisingly people can be very short sighted and shallow. They do not know the anxiety, fear and despair moms feel when dealing with children and motherhood. Can you imagine being responsible for another human life?

I have a feeling Cassis is Ashil. How could he know that the flowers were poisonous? And why was he treated differently by his family, unless he was an Agriche. Her mother also keeps on calling Ashil, they look so uncannily alike - and why did Lante easily kidnap him and give him to Roxanna when he doesn't even do that? He also seems to display the same dislike he had for Ashil to Cassis.
Just a thought.
