Hello beautiful people. This is a really good topic for discussion. I think some people who feel strongly about this because they are or likely someone they know is a victim of rape. Or was the perpetrator.
I just feel the need to correct statements that perpetrates dangerous ideas like rape culture.
Culture, society and some opinions tells you that says rape and is okay. It's not. Lack of consent is Rape. Looking at the facts here:
"Be mad if you want but this was not rape it was just rough sex." - So what is rape? Use of force, fear or intimidation to complete the act of sexual intercourse.
:Was there force? - yes. He grabbed Jooin's face. He shoved his fingers in Jooin's mouth. Jooin pushed him off but he still persisted. He thrust his dick into Jooin's mouth even though he couldn't breathe. He threw Jooin on the bed. All the while Jooin was saying "stop".
:Was Jooin in fear - yes, he was scared. He flinched, moved back, he actually said "I don't want this".
:Was there intimidation - when yahwi said did you have fun? He looked plenty intimidating. Also, when he said it seems any handsome guy is good enough for you. Don't take my word for it, look it up. Chapter 25.
So does this count as rape? By definition, yes.
"This is not me defending Yahwi & his actions. They both play a role & Jooin could have stopped him if he wanted to."
-Jooin said "I don't want this".
-Jooin pushed him off
-Jooin said Stop, I can't about 5 times
-Jooin said it hurts about 5 times as well.
"Let's not forget when Jooin passed out Yahwi immediately stopped & checked on him & did not keep going."
-Yahwi stopped 'after' finishing the sex act. He finished 'raping' Jooin. If he continued after Jooin's passed out, that's him 'raping' Jooin again.
"Also so far this story has been told from Jooin's perspective & Yahwi has been misunderstood this whole time."
- Victim's perspective. No consent. Rape.
- Yahwi had the choice to leave the room. He had the choice to stop when Jooin said stop. He knew Jooin didn't want it. Verbally. If we take it just by what was said, I don't think we misunderstood anything. Jooin said he doesn't want to. Yahwi chose to ignore that. Again, no consent, rape.
"Pay attention Yahwi might be part of the problem but he is not the whole problem Jooin plays a part too."
- Victim blaming.
- Jooin also has a problem, but Yahwi is the bigger problem. This is rape, the perpetrator is the problem. You don't say its the bank's fault for being robbed. You don't say it's the victim's problem for being murdered. It's not Jooin's fault he was raped.
Just facts.

Exactly, I'm tired of people justifying rape and sexual assault saying that the victim wanted it. Call a spade a spade, itself fucking rape and it's wrong. I've hated this entire scene that has been dragged out for like 3 chapters. There's nothing hot about a lack of body autonomy, it's disgusting at best.
I'm happy of them getting a good laugh at sir Aino's expense. (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
