In short: the grandpa of the ML used to be in love with the grandmother of the FL/sister/brother, but they didn't end up together because the grandmother was already engaged to someone else. So instead, they promised that they would have their children marry each other. But they both only had sons so instead, the ML's grandfather wanted their grandchildren to fulfill the promise. Later, one day, the grandpa saw young Emily and noticed that she was the spitting image of her grandmother (aka the woman he loved). So he asked his grandson to marry the woman that looked like the spitting image of his first love. Which is why the ML is trying to marry Emily

Oh~ That's why. Thank you for the clarification. I got confused why he's so obsessed with the Langton. Just curious though, if he marries Dylan rather than Emily, wouldn't that defeat the purpose since she's not the splitting image of her grandmother?

I love how he immediately decides that getting closer to him would take time- but still says, "I won't say it twice" Pick a path darling, are you patient or overbearing
So They really named the virus 'Abola', one letter difference from ebola...and the kids that were infected transformed to... Look black Im so uncomfortable right now
Yeahh I wouldn't say they're black. It does sound like it took the name from ebola but the way they look is either regular skin tone or slightly grayish which is similar to many other comics in the zombie genre
I'm really talking about the first appearances, since I didn't read far ahead- the latest chapters seemed to have evolved but... in the beginning... hm
the colour of the skin is determined by the fact that they are not humans anymore, so the skin tone chaanged, normally, the bodies started to rot, so it will obviously have a darker tone. i think your consideration is a bit of a stretch
I just thought of it, but, chapter 37, the original lord used to abuse her, you know? Saying "you were always an angel" its like saying she's been so patient and good and all- But its just romanticizing her victimhood
Okay, but did they mention why he went to the younger sister instead of the first anyway?
