I will say that it’s somebody that wasn’t reading for such a long long time came back read the chapter 11 and 12 was like wait. What in the flipping fuck read the first chapter and completely agree with you because it feels too overbearing it stops feeling calculating when you’re doing dumb shit like this.

jp light novel usually short and concise description, 1st pov narration and sometimes confused dialogue bcs it's not stated who's the one saying. While it also has questionable content and lots of trigger warning, it's nice for those love this type of novel and finished tl for the main story :3

I don't think their relationship would last long since I never got the sense that Mah (ML) will be satisfied that kind of lifestyle in the long term. But hey, I still like the fact that they ended up together. Bunch of cuties<3 I also like that each of the main character redemption had define quirks

I think they still have quite the chance though, since the ML lost his family (got his death faked) back then because he got into that heist shit with the ex, so he would probably prefer to have some sense of stability (that's why he bailed). Even if there are some problems that come up, I think they would talk and address it and deal with the issue. Well, that's my take though .
agreed. feel like mah finds comfort in the mc’s personality and is entertained easily by him. i think mah is over the rebellious lifestyle and just wants someone to be soft and a home for him, someone who really cares about him and not his grand ambitions, which is exactly what mc provides.
he wanted connection, but also to not be restricted in his own person. since mc accepts him as he is despite all his flaws, id like to believe they could last long ahhaha. but those are just my thoughts!! i am glad they ended up together too and would love more (esp abt mom) in the future if possible~

despite treating this story lightly as a quick read, i think jungwoo got serious issues that i felt like weren't just simply resolved or fully acknowledged properly before this story ended. Jungwoo is my fav, hella funny even, but he rlly is a bum, relying on his daddy's card and being a childish...a bit crazy in the head. I worry how he'll fare when he ends up having to support himself, not being able to rely on his family name anymore
i genuinely don't think their relationship will last long but hey, their love persevered and ig that's proof enough that they can overcome most obstacles in their relationship
oh, but seeing the side stories of the time skip, he doesn't seem to have a tendency to spend much anymore. well, no scenes of him being a spendthrift that is. i think he matured more, so ig that's a sign.
overall a good light read. don't treat it seriously much or else you'll get blood pressure. and jungwoo beating people up was hella fun^^

i was pissed off that they ended up together by ch 45 since i really appreciated of the genuine emotions MC displayed from chapters 1-11, he showed fear and realized the despair that his protag in his webcomic may have felt. i genuinely thought this would be a nice depiction of the terrors being locked against your will. i was about to drop it when i read the spoilers and I'm glad it's not going to that routeeee. kinda reminds me of My Deepest Secret

Said that, I hate most of bls because of how lightly they take serious real problems, and sexualize/romanticize them. I don't know how much of spoilers you've read so far but I guarantee you this is an absolute masterpiece. Sexual violence is not a thing here, and the psychological aspect is so well done, so delicate and complex at the same time, that you're side by side with the rollercoaster MC is going through. The ending is like nothing I've read so far. I think of this story all the time, so I absolutely recommend it<3 I hope you can read it chapter by chapter from.now on

I read it a while ago but I'm pretty sure they were both pretty much into it for a change. The story is so fucked up (and I loved it for that) and their mental health is as fucked up, but given the plot it could've turned really nasty in the worst possible way by using the usual rape tropes. And it hadn't. So no, I don't think sexual violence is a thing here

I'm pretty sensitive with that topic and I don't think it's included here, and that's one of the reasons why this is my favorite psychological thriller. But it's okay if you think otherwise

Interestingly, despite the hostility and fight between the characters, they're all so fun that you can't help be okay with their actions. But the character that frustrates me the most is that new general brown hair who's in love w the female guard (which i dub thee Shit Hair).
it seems plain to me that he's ignorant and power-hungy, a mix of both the crown prince and mu ryang, in the worst way possible.
The crown prince is power-hungry because he wants to rule over a nation that will prioritize talent rather than blood and status. Mu Ryang is ignorant yet still desire to display mercy and peace
