Ok, so I may have spelled a few things wrong and hoping I got the names right.
From my understanding Grey is half incubus and half human. His dad is an incubus who I guess is sleeping (?) somewhere hidden. His mom is human and it looks like she was killed by Carl (a servant to Grey’s dad, it seems as if he loved him though). Annabelle (not sure her exact relation to Grey, but Grey calls her mom) has two kids, Brenda and Torres. Brenda hates humans so she doesn’t like Grey and Torres just seems to follow orders (but is in a sexual relationship with Blair, a snake person). I guess because Grey is half human, Annabelle makes sure that he is always being watched by an incubus member for his safety.
There are two known species outside of humans, incubus and Lamins (the snake people, I can’t remember the spelling rn). It kinda came
Off as if the snake people where ruthless, but after Brenda bullied a bunch of them at their hidden bar, it’s hard to think that. And incubus invade a humans sleep under the disguise of what the dreamer desires most and has sex with them for energy).
Ethan comes off like some random human who is getting caught in the middle of all of this because of his feelings did Grey. Although, in one chapter it was hinted that Torres and Blair had a child, and I interpreted that to be Ethan, but that just confused me more.
Grey likes Ethan (I’ll be honest, while writing this I mixed up their names) but is afraid to move their relationship forward since a close friend to Ethan (Blair) is a snake person. At best, the most dangerous thing about a snake person from what I can tell is their poisonous fluids (saliva and sperm as to why Torres doesn’t let Blair kiss him).
That’s just about everything. I probably forgot a thing or two though (⌒▽⌒) I was everywhere while writing this, I am sorry. I hope you understand it more
