I have seen a lot of comments on Zay’s characteristics. 95% of them are bitching about how “weak” she is. You have to understand this isn’t about her being strong and saving herself. It’s about saving Aseph. You can’t be hard on an already broken character. It would’ve made sense if the male lead was a strong headed one but Aseph isn’t, which is made clear from the very beginning as seen from his past, he went through a lot. He needs someone to give him emotional support and by the way her character is set up (Loving, softhearted and empathetic) she is fit for his dark nature. “BOoo shE cRies tOo mUch” another thing that pisses me off. It’s not even because she makes dumb choices, it’s because she cries? The fact that she cries shouldn’t make you wanna drop this because from her standpoint, she feels for him, she feels a deep connection with him ever since she started reading about him in her world. And I think because of how strong she felt for him she ended up falling into his world. Crying doesn’t make her weak, it’s an essential to Zay’s characteristics to express her strong feelings for him. Stop whining about her crying and being weak. Not every female character needs to be strong/confident. Learn to accept different types of female leads.

It's so annoying how people couldn't understand the pain that the FL also had to go through, I know things aren't supposedly be solved by crying, but the fact that it's also too obvious that the FL has a very sensitive emotions especially when it comes to her feelings towards the ML is somewhat amazing to witness, it shows the reality that some other people who cannot acquired the love that they wanted to have but instead they just can't do anything except is to stand back and cry. That's why I don't quite understand how much can they hate the FL for thatヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
