I completely agree. I don't think he values her individually but only in comparison to another woman, his first wife.
It's one thing to settle with being second fiddle for a partner that cares for you and treats you with a respect. It's another when the said person treats you like shit, neglects you when you are pregnant and doesn't even want to share a bed with you unless its for sex.
It was just so awful and it was for a significantly long time.
