the art is amazing and the world! building! it's rare to see a western history story portrayed right by a korean writer/artist. i don't need 100% accuracy but the adaptation of magic to everyday world, the clothing designs, the technology is really great to me. i'll let this one cook a bit before i continue reading it
i have to admit, even tho this webtoon has a very dark topic it was written very well. it's just a shame, bcs i know he's gonna end up with narye again, since chaehon is basically him just repackaged since he knew he can't do it the old fashion way so he manipulated the mc. and they guy who kidnap him is probably narye's brother from before too. like, it's written well but what's the fucking point when the author just gonna make him end up being with his abuser, rapist, and killer? i would only accept two endings: him escaping and be free of narye's clutch or him killing himself again. im so serious bcs no one would have been sane enough to be willingly get into a relationship with a lunatic like narye.
