Beside the fact that its completely dumb not to celebrate. Because every damn noble celebrates no matter what status they have. The fact that a celebration is such a good way to not only express your feelings for the person in question. Its not about how luxurious and expensive a gift is, its genuinely about the thought behind a gift!!! If I think about giving a person a necklace as a gift, then my thoughts would be:
•do they wear jewelry a lot
•do they like it lose or tight
•what kind of material do they like or prefer
•do they prefer stones, charms, feathers, pearls or no additional stuff to be on the necklace
•something more flashy or plain
•would they look good in it
•what are the chances they will wear it at all
Like there can be a lot of through be put into a gift, you dont need to explain that all, but showing up with 100 boxes of stuff that other people picked out is just... wow...
The most expensive thing a person can give is time. Humans have a limited amount of time they are alive. Taking that time and really thinking about the other person and a gift is really beautiful. It doesn't always have to be objectively expensive, but its already a lot to feel the warmth in a gift.
Also a birthday party is also such a nice event to connect with others and create connections between other people their age or gain respect/influence and carissing sozial connections

if they had over shadowed it or grossed over it, it wouldn't be worth reading because it would of been nothing for the FL's development. and i really hate manga's that do not give the leads things to develop over. Someone else's trauma are often better development plots than the regular fighting stuff. It's because they are things that happen to everyday people on earth and hopefully make people on earth reading it open their eyes a bit more.

Its probably bc of the people who read those kinds of stories. When a series gets popular, many people copy that story and milk it try until everyone moves on to the next genre. The gender equality in korea is really bad, so i guess that does play a role. From all the women I saw on social media who talked about all the misogyny that's going on there, im not surprised they rather turn to fiction
it's bad everywhere sato. sadly, humans haven't gotten past this whole "man vs woman" thing. to humans no one can be equal, everyone has to have a pecking order. on the outside they say they support the equality of it all, but really inside, they don't. and it shows in TV shows, music, art and many other things all across the world. I was lucky enough to travel across this world to many different countries, long before equal rights in many countries were talked about by anyone. things are a lot better now than they were then because there are easier ways to see it in your face. before there wasn't, it was all behind closed doors, whispers and hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. we can only hope in time the balance will finally equal out. as someone who was born into a house full of women and being the only son. don't think it will be the next 3 generations though sadly ╮(￣▽￣)╭

best way to fix things, is fix things in your own little area first. forget the rest of the world. trying to fix a large area at once is to big of an issue. the way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. so, improve yourself, improve your neighborhood, then work your way up from there. though most people will only ever be able to deal with their neighborhood. and that's fine. one neighborhood at a time will improve many lives, slowly, but it will stay that way longer. and keeping things improved for a longer time, will spread. doing things to fast is like a house of cards. and it will fall all to fast. also remember to have fun. life is to short not to. The novel readers went a little nuts over the fact that the mother of the FL didn't recognize her. So apparently after the FL was lost, her mom went a little crazy and got mentally ill and when they said the FL (she still had brown hair at that moment) might be their daughter she went nuts and yelled at her. When they found out she was indeed her daughter she broke down in tears and apologized (FL instantly forgave her). From the little information I read, the novel reader said the scene was pretty shitty and kinda ass soo. Don't get to disappointed if they dont change the scene guys ╮(￣▽￣)╭
