I feel like he didn’t even approached her tho? On the festival she approached him, and then she got afraid of him because he was “a cruel king”. Then he tried to take care of her health because he saw that she wasn’t well. But, she kept getting sick so he used his dreams. She loves him on those dreams, and wanted those dreams to be a reality but once she found out that he knew about her pregnancy she didn’t even tried to hear him out and ran away. Yes, he was wrong to chase after her and kidnap the kids, but all of that would be avoided if she was honest with him about being pregnant.
