Isn’t the new emperor the ml? Or so I think. In chapter 54, the male witch in disguised said “ Legion and Phythion. I supposed I should have known when I noticed how similar are your names. It turns out you’re quite a precious man from birth. I guess imperial heritage doesn’t mean much.” This implies that the ml is of imperial heritage so he has the right to the throne. The following chapters also said that the ml is busy preparing for the enthronement plus they moved into the imperial palace along with the servants and soldiers and why would they moved there if not going to live there?
