OMG i guess i usually only read this on mrm and just come here for the comments, but mrm translates yuuki and masaki's first convo abt his break as just him being on "holiday" while mangago translates it as "break from college"..... IM SHOOK?!?!?! i thought he was in hs at the very beginning of the series KDJGHJKFHGKJ

yaoi is so wild how, when there's possible incest your aversion to it or approval of it might be based on which seme is introduced first/is given more screen time. like i have my yaoi with incest where im like "woooooo, go big/little brother,, grrrr ugly stranger seme" but then in this one im like "no incest! go stranger seme!" idk, just me?? dfhsdkjf

ok i just want to give everyone a warning since there isn't a tag yet and i was caught completely off guard when i read the raws and it made me feel just.... bad. there is rape in here :/// and not "yaoi" rape either.. like hardcore. And i guess if you're familiar with this mangaka's works... its not that much of a surprise since after the inital shock i was like "oh i should have expected something like this ;~;"
its not glossed over tho!! so thats the good thing. I'm not saying that this work is disgusting and promotes rape or anything, it doesnt! I was happy with how the characters... "dealt" with it, i guess would be the word. But the initial sickness I felt while reading the scene is still there and i feel like crying when i think about it dffhdf. So just be ready for that, or avoid this work completely if you think it might be too much for you!

I hate stories containing rape but here it was not taken lightly as usual. They will try to deal with it instead of acting as it was normal

That's honestly what I was thinking too. Like, at least she deals with her serious topics in a good way and like makes sure to portray them in a real light where you know rape is bad, abuse is bad, etc.... but I also wish she would just give us a vanilla story for once :( i thought that this story would be one until the rape scene

It is a good story! as long as I dont think about the rape scene I really like it, but ya it was just WAY more hardcore than I would have expected and it caught me completely by surprise, especially the way that the scene opens... I was hoping the direction had gone another way like he got saved, so seeing that he didn't was just horrible ;___;

I dont know why or how the senpai suddenly becomes hot in volume 2.... but i LIKE IT!!! lmfaooo

There's a bit of a tonal shift early on with sempai's character, which makes me believe that she must have changed her mind about the love interest. Sempai doesn't come across as a real love interest at all when he's introduced - neither in appearance nor his sexual advances. The chapter when he leaves for work and it's revealed that he spent all his vacation time with Takenaka is where the tonal change happens, IMO. The fact that she drastically changed his looks later also makes me believe that he wasn't initially the end game.

ok reading the raws honestly made me mad so i probably won't be reading the translated version dfhfhdfs. i just feel incredibly bad for the seme and i never understand why when they're in these situations they don't just leave the uke.... like i would feel so cucked lmfao

You read or you saw the raws? it's not good to judge if you have not understood the story and come to hasty conclusions. In addition to this discourage others to pursue their reading
