his dad came back and literally the world's biggest portal has just appeared which could destroy all of humanity. mc tries for a few seconds and couldn't do shit so he was like "welp instead of looking for my dad or figure this shit out ima just suddenly go on a date with a person I rarely ever talk to." This felt extremely forced into the story, I would be fine if he was with the chick but he literally barely showed any interest in her for 153 chapters, just felt like I was reading a "filler" chapter.

SO TRUEEE!!! Like she doesn't even do that much contribution or deeply connected on the main story. I can't help but feel annoying everytime they just throw her into some scene like a 'filler'. I'd actually prefer the first girl with long hair to be the female lead idc what pimpol gon' think just fck off this is my oppinion ┐(´д｀)┌

Sorry this gets long. Fr tho. Atleast this scene has a smoother transistion in the novels than the manhwa. Like, as a non novel reader, it was very confusing how this was turned out. Im a jinwooxcha shipper my self, but the scene was just so out of place. One moment the world is about to face its biggest portal yet and people are evacuating af. They dont know when it'll open up or how it will affect the world. It was basically pre apocalypse then next moment they are in the amusement park. Now idk which amusement park they are in but its was confusing how this amusement park seems detached from what is happening in korea and the world. Im pretty sure, any place in korea would atleast be bothered by this big ass portal that covers the entirety of seoul, if im not mistaken, but noooooo them people in the amusement park still acts like korea isnt doomed, so that was confusing really. This scene was so misplaced. It wouldve been better to place this before shit arrived, or when the chairman hadnt died yet

I agree with all of this and everyone else making similar points. The carnival chapter just seems so out of place. It really was just like... why /now/? It's almost comically random, considering what we saw in the previous chapter? Like oh, yeah, I totally believe that y'all just went to hang out and have fun, then go on a fun dragon ride, meanwhile The Actual Gates of Hell are opening up in your city lmao. Okay. ( ° ʖ °)

If you read the novel its just a perfect timing... and its not random.. they been showing it since previous chapters.. and this is one of those novels that romance didn't pop out of the blue.. he will even do something later on just to be with the girl...

yes, it's in the novel but not in the webtoon. the webtoon made it horrible timing, wayyy out of the blue. the webtoon made it look like he wasn't interested in no one and than all of a sudden asks someone out on a date when the world could go into war any minute.

Okay so im starting this FOR THE THIRD TIME BECAUSE I WROTE SO MUCH AND LOST BOTH DRAFTS BECAUSE I ACCIDENTALLY SWIPPED PAGEEEES. Im not making the same mistake again and losing almost 1 hour and a half so im writing this on my notes!!!

Yeosob is in a very bad mental state because of his trauma with his mother’s death when he was a child… he had to see his own dead mother as a liitttllle child!!! He became antisocial, distant, unresponsive, lacked affection, and became schizophrenic/ developed a split personality. He got adopted by his uncle who had a son (the red head). The red head also had trauma from being taunted/bullied/alienated from his whole school (all because his bulky that started has a misunderstanding that his older brother liked red head more as a younger brother than him. He didn’t even talk about it with his older brother until years later when he realized his mistake), so he made yeosob obsessed with him. He wanted someone who wouldn’t leave him and would care about him unlike people in his school. He didn’t realize what he was doing was bad because he just wanted a person for himself who cared and got along with him unconditionally. Yeosob wasn’t close to him at first, but red head spend more and more time with him, getting close to him, saying he loved and cared for yeosob showering him with affection no matter what. Yeosob absorbed everything set his eyes only on red head, all his affection and care went on red head, and he became obsessed. Knowing that someone cared for him and had affection for him and wouldn’t leave him was great for yeosob, so he reciprocated those feelings to red head in a strong manner. A major scene that displays the extent of this and each character’s thoughts is when red head got a fish and started to care for the fish all the time, spending less time with yeosob. Yeosob saw that the fish was taking red head’s attention and care from him, so he one day, he killed the fish. Red head saw this, but was so scared of losing yeosob that when he confronted yeosob, he said something like yea that fish didn’t really mean to me, it’s okay, you’re more important. With years of this, yeosob cultivated his obsession, while red head is unknowingly feeding yeosob’s obsession with what he thought to just be care he had for his brother. The bully after years comes to red head again (he stayed away and stopped taunting him because when yeosob visited red head at school once, he saw how everyone was bullying his brother and that the bully was behind it all. He gave a warning to the bully essentially by threatening him to stay away from the red head or he would hurt him) and reconciled with red head. Yeosob saw that the bully was involving himself with the red head and thought that the bully had plans to hurt and taunt red head again and still hated him for his past actions against his brother (red head), so he gave another warning which involved the same threat. However, the bully didn’t comply and went to read head saying to get yeosob treatment. Red head was reluctant at first because he didn’t see anything wrong with yeosob and also didn’t want to get separated from him since he has an attachment with him. It’s sort of like an obsession like yeosob has, because he cares and has so much comfort in him, but not to THAT extent. The bully described how yeosob acts towards others and his abnormalities, so red head knew better, and since yeosob’s and everyone around him’s well being was more important, and they would be together again after he was better, he complied. They started hanging out alot, the red head and the bully, as good friends and talked about how to break it to yeosob. Yeosob saw them hanging out a lot and thought that red head wanted to get rid of him because he cared about the bully and that the bully was trying to separate them. Yeosob had enough and tries to kill the bully but red head stops him and gets pushed (I forgot how) to incoming traffic and gets hit and dies. Yeosob, losing the only one he cares and is obsessed with die again in front of him, goes furious and goes to stab or shoot (I forgit which) everyone around him (9 or 7 people). He gets detained and is investigated. He refuses to speak to anyone until one specific offcer comes in and he spills the beans. This story is the one yeosob tells to the officer. Why that specifc officer? Why didn’t he tell anyone else? Because that officer looked exactly like red head. Yeosob gets detained/behind bars/locked up/treatment and the everyone else has a happy ending. The bully ends up being close friends with the officer that looks like red head and get’s to visit his grave. Yeosob being locked up doesn’t get to even visit red head’s grave. He becomes unresponsive to his adoptive father, red head’s dad and his uncle, because they weren’t close from the beginning since yeosob blocked himself from everyone except red head. In the end of the last chapter, yeosob looks outside from his barred window to see the snow and tells red head that they should go outside and reminisces about playing in the snow with red head and how red head put a scarf on him and how they were so happy. He stops the flashback and tells red head nvm they’ll just stay in the room. He goes to his bed, sits down, and rests his head on red head’s lap saying that it’s better here that now no one can come between them. WAIT! WAIT!! I thought red head was dead? Yea he is… because in the last panel, it shows the same scene but the room is dimmer and yeosob sitting on the bed with his head on the mattress. Yup… he hallucinated red head… he can’t come to terms with him being dead.

I read this years ago so there might be some mistakes.

After reading this, I went to some forum or something and i was so MAD THAT my opinion was actually the minority. I HATED HOW EVERYONE LIKED THE BULLY AND HATED ON YEOSOB. My baby yeosob needs love. Like the person who legit caused all this was the bully! His misunderstanding and jealousy that he was too much of a coward for to talk to his brother about led red head to have such a hard time! Red head got bullied/taunted/alienated by his whole school every day because of the bully! This caused all of red head’s trauma and need for yeosob to become obsessive. If he had just stayed away from red head (which he should have because I still don’t forgive him for what he did), like he had before, things would have been better! Also, im so mad he has one of the happiest endings! He gets to visit red head’s grave and become really close friends with someone who looks like red head. While yeosob is locked up and can’t come to terms that red head is dead. But I’m also kind of glad that he’s hallucinating about red head… he wasn’t close with anyone else and even if it’s just the memories and hallucinations he has, in a way he’s not alone.

There’s my rant. Lol you can think whatever you want about the bully, but you can’t convince me to like him. I read so many words of people defending and glorifying the bully yet i just got more and more annoyed and hateful at him for some reason. Don’t ask what forum i forgot what it was haha it was years ago.
