Um it depends oh how far back your talking but basically after bishamon fought yatos father and got seriously injured yato and kazume planed on taking him down together, but sadly yatos father was able to convince yukine to join him and he help him remember how he died with is also know as "the gods greatest secret" knowing how all their weapons died. Yukki wants revenge by killing his father the man who killed him he became very powerful and is yatos father's newest weapon. Now yato and kazuma are facing off against father hopefully for the last time.

What's with the other gods and heaven?
Um they are currently discussing yatos father and how he is bringing disorder to the heavens and earth and they want to deal with him and all of his creations. Meaning that yato and yukine might be in danger if being dealt with also.
