
Is the Saint's powers tied to her emotions or something? Because I don't understand how protecting her ego is going to make her improve or even be a viable asset for the country? She's straight up a wild card and the type to get everyone around her killed. It's definitely giving the, it's ok if we lose half our soldiers or if innocent civilians die as long as we win, kind of vibe.
Also side note; the Saint is 110% using some sort of brainwashing thing on the people around her. But if I was Alicia I would have an extremely difficult time forgiving my friends and brothers who sided with the Saint who literally dismissed my trauma and told me "but you didn't die" and essentially that I was in the wrong by protecting myself. I wonder how they (the friends and especially the brothers) are going to deal with that guilt later if/when they wake up.
The fact that the MC is too scared to break up with the ML for fear of what he will do, means the ML better be crawling on the floor, crying and begging during his redemption arc.
