I haven't read the novel but I'm pretty sure it's because they found out that she's not a lizard but a dragon. The Etam house are descendants of dragons and basically the more dragon blood they have, the closer they are to the "true" Etam bloodline or whatever and no one in the household practically has any dragon blood anymore. And I believe it's because she's possibly the reincarnation of the dragon who gifted the Etam house with it's blood though I'm not 100% sure they know that yet. However, 5 years have passed o they may know now

Yes she will be in more chapters cause they will become allies and he will teach her to be a better assassin. So far there's no romance he doesn't see her like that at all. He sees her as a kid maybe even a grandkid or even a student. He has no romantic feelings for her more so parental/teacher like he does want to keep her safe and alive tho. It did hinted that she might've had a crush on him but I think now it's replaced with admiration. Honestly he doesn't have a romantic feelings for anyone in this story he's to focus on his revenge. I believe this is why people are enjoying this story cause it's no romance only straight hands being thrown. It's definitely a good read.
