I hope there isn't romance yet. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely want romance in this but not right now. I hope the romance blooms once they break his spell so he isn't a child in the day. It would be super weird if at night they are a couple and in the day, She's taking care of him as a child. I just would find that so weird because he considers her an older sister. Of course he's mentally an adult but it still would be odd. After they break the spell, I hope they do fall in love but just not now.

Let's make a vote on Ashid, Cion and Jay. The vote will be who the Male lead is. All you have to do is reply to this comment with who you think the Male lead is and why you think they are/Why you hope they are. The only rules are that you can't:
- Start an argument over someone's opinion or vote.
- And you can only pick one character for the vote. (You can still comment why you like other characters.)
- NO SPOILERS. You can't comment about who the actual ML is. Some of us know but please don't spoil it for people who don't. That's all the rules!
My vote:
I'll go first! I hope the male lead is uhmmm...Ashid honestly. Why? Well because, He seems the best choice. First off, Jay is a murderer so that's just straight off a bad choice. Not to mention, He almost allowed himself to be killed just for her reaction. I like him as a character and I think he's hot but he isn't good for the Female lead. Cion is a better choice but he's just too timid and has such a huge hatred for humans. Amy would focus so much time on trying to mentally heal him. Ashid is her favorite character, He has a respectable status and he's the most normal. I personally like Jay more but Logically speaking, Ashid is the best choice.

Honestly i wish the story will somehow satisfactory end up with Cion, I mean maybe when he gets better and starts developing confidence and acceptance for humans, and learn how to stand up for himself and get rid of the slave and pet name. I mean looking at him and fl walking side by side I can imagine them being best friends laughing together arms over shoulders.
But knowing how these stories progress
It's probably Ashid

I can understand why the two are so mad at the emperor and such because he left them to rot but they really should just hear him out. They keep jumping to conclusions and making assumptions that their dad just abandoned them. And it's obvious all of the princes really love them. Like, I just don't like how so close minded the mcs are. I love them both as characters and for their circumstances but it's just as characters themselves, I'm not a huge fan of them. They're like 18 in mental age right? Why can't get seem to grasp the fact it could be a misunderstanding and that they should hear the other party out. If you ask me, The whole reincarnation thing was just a way to make them seem a lot more smart but in reality, it didn't work well because they're both so...Pessimistic. I don't know why both of them are so mad about it. Like, They aren't really the real twins. They have their own family and home and friends. They had their own life. I think they're acting wayyy too much like the actual children. I hope they just try to act more mature and listen to the princes and emperor. It makes me sad seeing them so like...closed off and unwilling to listen. Again, I understand that they both feel abandoned and neglected but they really should hear their side of the story. I don't think they're putting in much effort to understand their father and brothers. It's just so clear how much they love the twins while all they get in return is wavering trust. I hope they'll soon learn to trust the emperor and princes more. They're all good people.

Omg, I think the same, for many chapters ago I have been holding back from saying it because my opinion was perhaps exaggerated. When I started reading I loved the characters and expected a lot from them only to end up disappointing me. They are teenagers 16-18 years old, and ... are they so unreasonable?
Even a blind character could see that both their parents and their siblings have no hatred for them and want to take care of them, but they prefer a thousand times to create a horrible drama in their heads and end up trusting people with bad intentions (which are too obvious because who would dare to speak of their past marking them as "bad" knowing that the emperor or his brothers can find out?). Their intelligence does not seem like reborn people but newborn little children who only want to trust what people show on the outside, their logic kills me, and to top it all the longer they continue like this, their guardian spirit runs the risk of disappearing because of their stupid, I can't defend characters like that and I'm starting to hate them.

Ehh idk. I mean I can understand why they would shut other people out. The emperor said he would literally kill these newborns and only didn't do so because they had the same hair colour as the father. The way he talked where the children was created was a mistake? The twins felt like they were an unneeded existence. Who the hell wanna hear that? I'd be fuckin devastated if it were me lol. Also the fact they were neglected and abused for 5 years? Of course the twins distrust the royal family.
The twins had the right to feel whatever they felt like towards their "father". They had the right whether to give others a chance or to shut them out completely. Or whether they should listen to their explanation or apologies or reject any words from them entirely. Honestly, after all this time-- the father went ahead and took them in the main palace? The emperor should've just sent them to faraway place that is safe because these shit wouldn't happen otherwise since the twins will never be accepted by everyone due to their "dirty blood".
The emperor just want to lift his guilt in my opinion, because the way he neglected the twins had been stabbing his conscience. The twins wanted an out. But no one ever wanted to listen to what the twins want. Oh well ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Pls don't hate me,if you have something to say please enlighten me but first go back to 1st chapter they are really twins.
You say they have their own family and felt love but did they really? It was never mentioned, some people lived their life having bad parents, like they just left their children with money to live by themselves they exist. But I can't claim that cause it's only a possibility they did have good family it was never mentioned. Besides they trusted only each other for 5 years even if they were all being affectionate , they still had trust issues, they have too many questions left unanswered. For me myself, Even with all the affection people give me I still can't trust them in my personal experience I had a "good" relationship for 7 years to only know that it was all fake in the end and since then I don't give my trust easily. They both we're imprisoned in the room , It would make sense for them to be so introverted, they we're even bully victims by their own servants, with that their self-esteem lowered and they felt unwanted. They just don't trust them yet, the twins didn't have much trust yet during their first time, They would like some answers as well, what I think is that they're just introverts with trust issues. If you have to say something pls don't send me hate, we gotta chill. Pls enlighten me.

Its just my opinion.... It doesn’t matter if they are already 18 in their mental age cuz it would still traumatize them if they had been abused and neglected for 5 whole years. I mean it’s like they were kidnapped (transferred to some placed or world they don’t know anything about), imprisoned (kept in that hell hole of a palace) and tortured for 5 whole years. It wouldn’t matter if the person was 18 or 25 mentally, that would still traumatizes anyone.
But that’s just how i see it. So no hate ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

yes yes yes
i can only imagine how painful it was for them having to endure 5 years of their mother abusing them and having no one to rely on other than themselves. I see the point that their mental age is 18 and should be mature about the situation and listen to the emperor or the princes explanation to clear the misunderstanding, i perfectly understand, but you have to see their side too. no matter what age you are, it can still be traumatic, imagine your mother abusing you and your father not giving a shit about it, if you havent experienced it then you can only imagine how traumatic it is (if u hav im so sorry i hope u r okay ><), so you really dont have the right to judge how they act on these circumstances, their actions come as a defence mechanism because they dont want to be hurt and get betrayed again. the emperor may have his reasons and theyre idk... reasonable and seeing that it was his life on the line i guess there arent any other way to deal with it (no specifics on the contract so....). bUT!! other people keep saying that they have the mental age of 18 so why are they childish... i get it, has a point bUT *saying again all those reasons i just gave previously*... AND PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT NEITHER THE PRINCES NOR THE EMPEROR EXPLAINED TO THEM WHY IT WAS LIKE THAT, WHY THEY WERE LEFT. NO THEY DIDNT.. sum be talking about being mature and whatnot, tHeN wHy dIdnT tHe eMpeRor ExplaiNed tHings?!! He's an adult i think that perfectly comes with bEinG mAture, but nO he just went up and brought them back to the old castle with their dark dark past-painful memories of being abused just because some noble said the mcees were angry and missed their mom. hE DIDNT EVEN QUESTION HOW THE MCEES WOULD MISS THEIR MOM WHEN SHE ABUSED THEM FOR SO LONG (i dont know bc my situation is not like that but others still sad abt things like this bc its still their mom, im sorry). he didnt think about it, he jumped to conclusions and made assumptions, if he did then he wouldve questioned it, he wouldve talked to the mcees, then the misunderstanding will be gone (yeet wHo's tHe mAtUre nOw). ALSO THEY DIDNT KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING OKAY, They didnt know about the contract and shit since they were locked in their bedroom and the maids dont really know or if they do they dont talk abt it, they were completely in the dark so how would they know that it was bc of some contract and the royalty just didnt have a choice, sO they can only assume that they hated them bc they were illegitimate, and when they finally heard the emperor and prince talkin abt they didnt hear the full story and they dID hear some dark things from the emperor, again without knowing the contract they can only assume. so ITS NOT THEIR FAULT.. congrats the second prince finally talked to them AND THE MCEES WERE MATURE ENOUGH TO HEAR HIM OUT.

crossed that mature enough to hear him out, arien may hear him out but arjen just listened to him without giving a fk, they did hear the "i wouldve killed them even before they were born" so they might be keeping that to heart but they were *sigh* immature to only want to consider their perspective as the truth

I feel like it was a natural emotional response tho it wasn't right , It was a natural emotional response. It still hurts y'know. Besides the misunderstanding is clearing up. Hopefully once again they would open up more once this is over. Let's just read the story see how it goes lol. It's their story not ours to judge. Though it's okay to hate but I don't want people exaggerating too much.

The emperor literally couldn't see the twins or he would die. It isn't just neglecting them, It's like actually not being able to see them. He didn't have any idea what was going on in the home, Remember? The second prince only found out after they turned five and then begged the emperor to take them in. He hadn't come in contact with them for five years. Of course he wouldn't understand how to treat them. Like, He suddenly gets his two children back after five years. It's obvious he's trying to redeem himself after figuring out what they went through. They wanted to go back, So he's sending them back. He's really trying to just make them happy yet neither of the twins decide to listen to them. Their mental age is 18, Right? Shouldn't they at least be a bit more open minded? With all their years of experience, They should know by now that you should hear someone out. Like, They're adults yet they act like children. Plus, He isn't their real father! That isn't their real bodies. It's all just a world they fell into. I don't get why they're so like, Mad at him if he isn't even their real father. Yeah, He is now but in reality, He isn't. It just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

So he couldn't hired maids to personally look out for them? To inform the emperor of them still living, acting like the emperor's eyes and ears? There are ways to be informed of the twins' living conditions but no of course the author wants them to be stupid so it'll create more drama later on. It is still a form of negligent even if the emperor sent the witch the money and all that jazz.
Having the mental age of 18 years old... What the hell does that even mean? There are adults no matter their age will still act like a frikkin brat irl. Are you actually saying the twin's reactions are unreasonable then? The twins are hurting from the abuse and betrayal, it's totally understandable if they can't easily trust someone.
In their protective bubble, there is only those two twins. And when someone comes into their bubble, of course they'd be wary as heck. Why is this so hard for people to understand? Why is it so easy for people to just brush aside the twins' feelings of fear?
Also should the emperor be forgiven for his statement regarding his remarks on his intent on killing the newborns? Of course he decided not to do it. But should the twins instantly forgive his remarks just because he showed some form of kindness? Because trusts goes a long way. I'm happy in the end that the twins found happiness with the royal family but right now it's completely understandable why the twins are thinking in such a pessimistic ways.
Tldr just give the twins some slack lmao.

The ML is the oldest brother. No, It isn't incest. They may have grown up together but they still aren't blood related. I know it may seem a bit creepy because she looks like his dead sister but ML has never once considered Hari as his younger sister. I will support the ship because they obviously love each other. <4

Well then, It'll be fine if she takes away her last name. Plus, This is wayyyyyyyyyyyy back then. Incest wasn't necessarily frowned upon back then. In our age, Yeah, It's messed up but back then you could marry anyone. People married others who were 2× their age. Oh and, Stop reading if you're grossed out by it.

Exactly. These people should stop being a btch and stop reading if they're grossed out. They're actingg like the author is begging them to read it. You guys are not entitled come on, this is free, your opinion doesnt really matter. Stop if you dont like the story. The back button is there for a reason. Your angry ranting and opinions wont matter.

Can we all remember that franz and sissi were first grade cousin? THAT was incest, and it's still one of the most romantic stories around the world.
And also marmelade boy is "social incest" but there's a lot of people that are ok with that!
They're family just because mommy was out of her mind and wanted to replace her lost daughter... If they have feelings for each other and they're not related by blood, it's good for me and it's not incest

Rex = 2nd Prince/Kinda the Villain
Hui = 3rd Prince/2nd ML
Ellie = Marquis Daughter/Kinda the Villainess
Eve = MC/FL/Dukes daughter
Black haired guy = Grand duke/ML

So the male lead is the grand duke. ( Black haired guy. I'm not 100% sure if he's the grand duke but I'm pretty sure he is. ) Apparently Hui has been aware of the scheming for a while now yet he hasn't said anything to Eve despite knowing about all of it. He actually just watches on the sidelines, Not saying anything and just seeing how it plays out for his own entertainment. He doesn't actually love Eve I think. Rex and Ellie love each other and are using Eve for her status. Anyways, The ML is the duke because Hui is a toad. I can't get over the fact he just sits there despite knowing everything and just watches for his entertainment. I think at one point Hui even slips something into Eve's drink after she lost a lot of weight. ( She gains weight super easily and Hui knows that. ) He's not necessarily a Villain, He just causes a lot of problems.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ALL TRUE. I think I remember seeing a spoiler that mentioned all this. I Could be wrong and Hui could actually be the ML but, I just remember this so I'm assuming it's correct. Don't take my words for 100% true as I don't even read the actual novel so I wouldn't know. Thank you!

I don't know about this..It's interesting but just not thorough enough. I know that the Duke doesn't want a lot of money or anything like that but, He's really poor.. Like.. It's just odd. I'm so used to a wealthy duke so seeing this poor guy is just odd? Shouldn't he at least have a lot of money? I'm on chapter five and this is just how I see it so far.

This is such a comedy Manwha! I can't believe she tried to get his thing hard as a wolf. LMAOO YOU CAN JUST PICTURE HER TRYING TO GET IT UP. I WAS DYING. And it's even funnier if you imagine that it actually went up and she did it. LMAOOOOO RHEIEGIEKEIWOW It's really weird to think about but so funny. She killed me when she went on about him not being a giraffe. ahahahaa That would've been SO funny. "My husband is a giraffe. It's very long and spotted." BAHAHAHA I'm cracking myself up.
Can someone explain? The king is the emperor right?? And Nina was his lover that he sacrificed??? Can someone please explain to me.
It’s just a legend. But they might be reincarnations... we don’t know yet
Nahhh, The translation is wayyyy ahead. Mangago just isn't caught up yet lol. I won't spoil it for you but I think I know what happens way later on.
Spoil pls
So this is what I understand, There was a king who sacrificed his lover for 90 other people. Nina was the lover. The king was the emperor. Now they reincarnated again.
