Me too. if i were the character or maybe one day i write a story of my own, I would think of a way to avoid that first, no matter how good looking the character is. Only if its uavoidable, like ur already married when u woke up in the world, then i would use my plan called "Fuk this shit im out" and just stay out of the drama and curry favour with the empress so that she'll protect me, maybe even the right hand woman for the empress. Of course i would still have to watch out so that no one will use me for their plans, but beyond that, i have no interest to fight and scheme for the emperor's attention.
