Just finished binge reading and I got to say I’m kind of heartbroken about what happened with the og art studio. While not the creator or the writer they still played a critical role in this series becoming what it is and they should have been fairly compensated. The new art isn’t bad but they’re not the best at portraying the characters at their current age. It’s bad enough none of them act like kids, but now we have 15 yr olds that look like they’re 19 going on 20. Overall still a great read. I might switch over to the novel though because 3 months is a long time to wait for an update when the war is just taking off.

The author wants to focus on too many of their side characters. Make another side project if that’s the case tho. No one wants to read this many chapters for one match. It’s only a 3 round game. We should not still be in arc. We’re about to get at least 10 more chapters now that they added the coaches to the game.

Just finished catching up on the current arc on webtoon. The comment section is so annoying over there.

Honestly, the comment section on this site (especially around chapters 210 to like 220 or something) pissed me off the most. Some people here kept spoiling what was going to happen to kjd but in a way that technically wasn't a spoiler, saying things like "the terrible part is coming soon" or "be prepared to cry". For me that was still a spoiler. I didn't want to know that something sad was going to happen. And when i read the part that was supposed to feel sad, i felt nothing because the comment section desensitized me and so I got ticked and avoided the comments section until today lolol. I wanted to be sad but i wasn't because the comments had emotionally spoiled it

Man, sorry that happened to you. Honestly it's impossible to prevent a fandom this big from discussing an already completed series, but it sucks when people don't even put a spoiler warning. Wish people could respect each others' reading preferences. We can never have good things ;;
For me the fights over novel vs webtoon readers and shipping wars really spoilt my mood. Many comments were just fighting and it frustrated me thinking how it's going to be worse when more adaptations are released. I finished the novel and wish people can stop spoiling so others can be interested in reading the novel themselves because the novel is really good, but there are those insufferable ones who purposely spoils everything.
(Ps The silver lining is that at least you can avoid the comment section here while reading, the comment section of webtoon is on every chapters)

Yea, it's alright, I'm already over it hence why I hath returned lol. I haven't read the novel at all yet but I'm very interested in doing so because of how many people say it's really good. That and I love ORV so I have no doubt I'd love the novel.
I had taken a peek at the comments in webtoon and yea... there are a lot of comments on the novel and quotes from it or people saying "this is how it's supposed to go based on the novel" or crap like that. Personally I don't care. The manhwa and novel are over the same story, but they're also two different entities. The artist can't cram every detail the novel has into the manhwa, but as long as they get the important bits (even the important detail bits) then I think it's fine! At least that's imo lol
You guys are just as bad if not worse than Art’s parents, who btw imo still owe him a proper apology. Kind of sad that you guys don’t consider him a child. Especially since he never really got to be a child. He had to mature a lot faster in his past life which is why Sylvia placed so much importance on him embracing his childhood and life itself. Not sure why him making friends with kids his own age is appropriate, but him developing a romantic feelings for one of those childhood friends isn’t?
