I’m at ch 65 and I’m kinda annoyed at the uke- I’m not sure if this was done on purpose or not but when that guy who asked uke to lose the competition so he could win asked to met up to apologize, uke say something like “I didn’t ask for your apology I don’t have to accept it or forgive you” which is valid, but then goes to the coffee shop guy he pushed down the stairs to apologize for what he did, and when coffee shop guy had an angry outburst telling uke to stop coming by uke thought to himself “why are they doing this to me” … like uke should just apologize then leave. He should’ve never started the waterworks and take his own advice, they don’t have to accept nor forgive you… idk it was just all so hypocritical. There’s holes in the story already- she doesn’t want to follow in the og villainous footsteps and die, she’s scared of the evil instincts of the og, so she spares the life of that sex trafficking scum to remain “clean of murder”, but in doing so she left loose ends bc he knows her power now… if he knows her power he becomes a liability to haunt her in the future and she may die. And it’s way more evil to keep him alive so he can sex traffic more kids than killing him. I was flabbergasted when she saved that scum, she doesn’t wanna be evil and die yet being a bystander to his future crimes is ok?!? If he and his goons are dead, her secret is safe. This is confusing asf. I read the side stories first bc I wasn’t vibing with the summary of ghostly rapings in the main story. So imagine my surprise when I read the side stories about cute Highschool couples and thought I’d give the main a try to see it’s historical??? And they’re different ppl?? Then who tf are those boys in the side i tried reading the main story but could not follow along
Actually the side and main story take the same character/ppl but with different universe, main story take historical and modern work&college universe while side story take modern highschool universe, well even u don't read the main story u can still understand the side story it had 1 main couple & 2 side couple (the massager the one with grey hair change his hair color, in the past his hair is black that why its kinda confused with 3rd couple). The main story itself kinda hard to follow, especially there is a scene of rap*ng by a ghost and many warning alert. for those who had anny issue with one of the warning im recommending just read the side story and its just shounen ai not yaoi with fluffy story rather than the main story ╮(￣▽￣)╭
There’s so many unfinished storylines that nvr got justice: uke not confessing brad gave him head and him having thoughts of fucking brad on many occasions, ukes trashy boss and workplace outcome, if Kate and Lizzie are gonna be ok, did seme sell himself in their 6 month breakup to make a living, and seme wants kids and uke is dead set on it nvr happening to the point of murder-suicide yet allows semes sperm to be frozen for a “maybe” situation?!?
Honestly uke is trash in the aspect of “I’ll murder him if he cheats but I am an exception to this rule and can borderline cheat” it was so annoying the many times uke got close to cheating with brad, and the time he jump straight into thinking ab fucking brad after their breakup was just wow. Looking back I think it was a self harm act but it’s still so hypocritical that if seme went to duck immediately after breaking up he’d have a mental breakdown.
