Dropped ch 19. Why did she willingly go back to her abusive home when the black haired lieutenant went to “rescue” her??? She did not resist in the slightest, and just felt injustice that that plot of the story was that hellbent on killing her off, like you resisted once, do it again. Did she care for that lieutenant enough to go with him to spare his life?? Bc I did not get the vibe that she cared about him more than she cared for her survival. I guess she’s more kind hearted than I thought. And when she went home, she fell for silly pranks like eating visibly nasty food, yet had maids harassing her fired? Why stand up for herself on one matter and not the next?? She’s so confusing and I hate her decisions. If only her willpower to survive and THRIVE were stronger, then this would’ve been a better read
