It's like the reader is just thrown in the middle with it with the bare minimum context and a lot of details are missing. What sort of world is this, does it have magic? Why is her survival tied to Cassis? What is she planning to do exactly? These things you have no choice but to keep reading cluelessly until you find the answer.
That's easy. It's a medieval kind of world with a little magic (since there was a white magician or something who found the butterflies originally in the book) and if she doesn't save Cassis his sister is gonna kill her and her entire family in revenge.
I want him to suffer the biggest shame and never ever ever get back on his feet.

I'm gonna get hated for this but Radelk needs serious character development. I guess to say it shortly, he's a yandere, he keeps thinking about getting rid of this and that rival without even considering how Chitra would feel about it.
In terms of character development, Tornian is by far my favorite, he turned into this sociopath genius into someone who earnestly and sincerely has affection for Chitra. Tyrex is also a close second. And then, the twins.
Looking forward to the next husbando to be drawn! I hope she draws someone who can help poor Vilka in construction.
BUT ngl this one seems well-executed so far. The FL has realistic feelings for someone who went through what she did. And the ML is still cute as a kid, a bit conflicted and a tsundere, given his upbringing, but still, I wholeheartedly support the ship. Although, somehow, Tory is sus, she's either lesbo for Larriet or another crossdresser.

I can't feel the ship between estelle and emiel. Exactly how big is the their age gap? Even bar that, their relationship is so rocky. Emiel got some weird edgy issues while Estelle puts him on a pedestal. They don't see each other eye to eye at all.
I teared up seeing those names, oh poor bby ML. Still, I understand FL's reaction against him.
