For all the yaoi fans out there who don't already know, there is a wonderful new sports anime out there called Yuri!!! On Ice. Though it has not been tagged yaoi, the main two guy characters have already kissed, and it was confirmed to be a kiss. Everyone needs to watch this asap! There are currently 9 subbed episodes and 6/9 dubbed episodes which new episodes every week!!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm so into this show, that I may be ranting a little.

the youth of today are wasting time for sure. I used to think like that but when I was a teen. you'll regret all those wasted years when you pass 35, 37, 40+ and see how silly your generation idealizes "love". I'm 38 and I do regret some of the guys I turned down in my youth because there was not love. a total stupidity to expect love when the truth is most people don't love, they infatuate. and to love someone you literally have to be with someone for looooong years. love don't come the first time, its something people develop through years, knowing the person. you star infatuating not loving. waste no more time or you'll regret it. ask anyone of 35 and above and will tell you similar opinions. and you will never know what will happen tomorrow, an illness, death, anything can happen. live life, don't waste it. and regrets are a sure thing in the future... ;)

Frankly speaking, not everyone is bent on the idea of having a partner for the sake of having one. I mean sure, if you regret then you regret, but if you dont you dont either. I'd rather die a virgin than force myself to do what is expected, I just do what I want. If the time for it doesn't come then oh well. I too have differentiated between infatuation and actual love. No matter how infatuated you feel for a person, red flags are red flags. That's the real reason I have yet to get to dating someone. If I find someone who I can deal with, grow with as a person and vice versa, and am willing to put all the years of effort into, then that'll be the person I bother with to put myself through all the anxiety that has to do with 'firsts' in relationships and being responsible for another person's well being 24/7. When you're with someone you gotta feel like you won't get tired of it. Infatuation is part of it, but it should be directed to something that's gonna be worth your own time, is positive, and satisfies both parties.

Exactly. I live in an area where it is normal to get married and have children when you're young. I know so many people that got married before they were 22. I used to give myself such a hard time for not doing the "normal" thing. But now, I'm so relieved that I did not. I was definitely not ready. Now, I'm still single and enjoying my life. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm not going to force it and I'm not going to be hard on myself (well, at least most of the time- I'm still human).
Agreed. In my area I know a lot of girls who have kids b4 they are 25, 1/2 the time not even married first. They r happy but that wouldnt work for me. Whatever comes will come, stressing over it will just kill ya faster
