So I took the time to binge read this manga and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed the story. The beginning got me hooked because Fujimoto idolizes Masaki and he see him as this cool, popular guy who gets along with everyone but once he finally gets to know him, he's not what he seems to be. The uke is weak and naive but to me that's understandable because he was someone who was sheltered and obviously didn't have any sexual education from family or any street smarts. I liked that he changed his appearance but still wanted to be true to himself. He still was able to stand up for himself little by little even though he isn't stong physically. Masaki was a jerk in the beginning (but I still liked him) and I like that he fell for Fujimoto....hard! He really worked hard to gain his love and changed his attitude (kinda, his temper would get the best of him) and habits. Fujimoto's indecisiveness was also understandable because he was afraid of other and families judgment about their relationship. I'm taking the year the manga was made into consideration because well, I'm in my late 20's, even when I was in high school it was still unacceptable to come out as gay. Especially as a man. All in all, it was a good read!
Also, Kanae sucks. I'm sure he did good deeds and was good to Masaki (?) and his brother (?) but he is a questionable guy. Like, maybe I don't want you in my life, let me press charges on you, questionable kind of guy.
