I will always say the portrayal of trauma and abuse is so important in a characters story. Normally, I’m telling that hoe to stand the fuck up and stand on business. But the way her trauma doesn’t “haunt” the story but IS the story. God I love it. This story isn’t some cash grab. Theres so much heart going into this story. I’ve seen this exact plot countless times and pumped out numerous times.The thing is majority of them lack heart..

She’s definitely top villain for me but I hate how it took damn near 100 chapters for them to meet each other. She’s a damn good villain my god. Seeing the spirits was cool and all but they definitely could’ve chopped off allat filler. I just wanted to see them FINALLY meet
I remember a year ago or so people dreaded this manga now I’m seeing, “slayyyy”. Well, what he did to that weirdo was definitely, “slayyyy” material. (Chapter 115) This is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. His little speech before he gave the guy his punishment was lowkey tea asf.
I absolutely love the fact that she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty. And that she’s not 100% against her husband killing other people. Also, that she’s not scared or intimidated by seeing her husband literally slaughter people. They quite literally match each other's freaks.
There’s a level of respect and trust between them that you don’t see in other manhams. As good as most of them are. This manwha truly demonstrates a partnership. Everything he knows the majority of the time she knows. It’s not a one-sided “I’ll protect her and not tell her anything” trope.
A huge detail I love is that. She’s as pretty as a rose but as sharp as its thorns. I see that people don’t really like strong female tropes because they like a more timid. I want to be saved by a handsome guy, female lead. I find them to be absolutely annoying, and they’re setting us back 1,000 years. I’m semi-serious. I think this is the perfect balance of soft but also dangerous. To be fair, that’s how a siren is supposed to be.
I’d like to add that I love the little specs of her trauma is appeared even further into the story. She’s not magically over the trauma of her previous life.
Lastly, the art style is amazing! She looks like an absolute villain ngl. She’d definitely be a villain in another story. Innocent but so dangerous. Reading the comments, I’ve seen that people are disturbed, but I think the eyes especially give off a siren, eerie vibe.
FRRRRR, I absolutely loathe fl's who are like "oMg No KiLlInG pLeAsE! lOoK aT mE (ml's name), tHiS iSnT yOu!" Like BRO. Especially if they reincarnated or reverted the time, girly you should know that as a duke(or any high position) it's inevitable. Even as an adult, you should be educated and KNOW the world isn't just sunshine and rainbows. Then they huff and puff, crying in the corner, looking at the ml as if he's a cold blooded murderer(sure he is), BUT ITS LITERALLY A KILL OR BE KILLED SITUATION??? And then not only that, just cuz the fl decided to act like a child, she will create a conflict between them, and the ml thinks of himself badly because of it.

This is the first time I actually liked the second male lead. Just as much as Asharan deserved to finally be loved so does Doha. The author owes him that. The art style is the only thing carrying the story. The story is so shit I had to take a shit while reading the shit. I’m all for “angst” and possessiveness, but this ain’t it.
