Finally a story where the dead character who kinda instigates the plot ( like they are the main motivation for the mc's actions) actually has an influence throughout the story. Most stories the dead character are mostly forgotten about after the the beginning and while be mentioned here and there. But here it's really nice to see the FL constantly think about her grandpa. You can truly feel her love and devotion for him . Honestly, it makes you as a reader also develop a level of connection to him. I wish more stories did this.

I really wanna enjoy this story coz I love cohabitation and age gap mangas but it's really hard . The FL is really annoyingly emotional, constantly running away and avoiding the ML. I dont know why every single shoujo manga has this type of character. Honestly, teenage girls arent like this ,yes we can be insecure and emotional but not to the level shoujo FL's are. It's really frustrating to read such characters and just ruins the experience, especially since it's such an overdone character troupe.

This time the FL's personality and actions are justified. She learned to bottle up her feelings and never complain, "getting emotional (crying), avoiding and running away" from the cause of new discomfort or the emotion she feels is acceptable. Those emotions are new to her and she's not used to handling those ,but we see her growth and being comfortable and secure in herself and their relationship, which is also realistic.

I feel like Daim doesnt get enough appreciation. Shes so charming ,she doesnt beat around the Bush, not unnecessarily insecure, not dense or an over thinker like other FLs .It's so rare to find romance novels where the FL has a temper without being a tsundere or as an aloof character. Shes also takes the lead without being pushy . Shed also really funny .

Eventhough I'm happy that akihito likes her ,I'm so disappointed with the reason why he approached her . What's even more disappointing is that obviously jun will find out about it and I'm pretty sure she'll forgive him. Atleast he's changed and being genuine, so I'll try to forget about it but nonetheless it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Am I the only one who doesnt understand why so many manga have female otakus trying to hide the fact that they are otakus? Is it such a bad thing in japan?

well being an otaku is not something that most people are pround to be in Japan.
"otaku" (おたく) means "自分の狭い嗜好(しこう)的趣味の世界に閉じこもり、世間とはつき合いたがらない(暗い感じの)者 。" it's kind of the official definition and it says that an otaku is a person that confines themself and doesn't want to talk to anyone (well it's not that positive)
Of course it's just a stereotype toward otaku in Japan, not every fan of manga/anime is like that in Japan.
I hope my explanation wasn't complicated! (If you search the translation of おたく in english it's literally says "nerd")

Am I the only one who hates it when authors make the best friend as a love rival. Is your friendship worth so little that you throw it away for some girl you barely know . I would be so heartbroken if my bestfriend completely disregarded our years of friendship and tried to make moves on my partner. On top of that , the characters wont even have any mental struggles. Like his bestfriend didnt even feel guilty for liking FL nor did the ML feel any betrayal, they just directly became antagonistic towards eachother. At least the authors should put some effort to give the characters some depth.

While I completely agree that’s it’s upsetting when authors do that, I think the reason no one is bothered is because it’s not seen as uncommon in some places in Asia. If 2 boys like the same girl, neither gets upset. At that point, there’s almost like a mutual understanding that they ‘compete’ per se and the girl gets to make the ultimate decision
I bet itll be that he has a fever or something
