At the end of summer, Hotaro died.
Such a lovely story! ╥﹏╥ It was more heartwarming than I imagined. That's one thing that I really love about some mangas compared to webtoons - no stretched stories, no unnecessary dialogues, no chapters up to hundreds - just straight-up wholesome stories that end at a couple of chapters but still manage to be heartwarming and complete. An easy-to-read, sweet and light BL manga. Definitely one of my faves!

Many readers are way too disturb with the incest thing, but I think that's just the way it was before, especially on higher-class families. Maybe we don't get to read articles about it too much, but I'd bet my ass they also did it secretly just like in this story. I mean, we're talking about a timeline where countries are still ruled by dukes, etc. etc. Maybe you don't favor incest, but you can't change history. Actually, keeping the bloodline pure is more realistic than you think. I'm not saying you guys are exaggerating but I guess you are. ( ̄. ̄)

I read Kudou and Miyauchi's story again (the second couple) but I only realized now the possible reason why Hijiri was greatly fond of Kudou. He was obsessed to scientifically make Kudou a 'soulmate' because he believes a soulmate can give Kudou the ultimate form of happiness, and he wanted Kudou to be happy more than anyone else because he knew about the incident where Kuduo was raped by omegas and betas alike in a party. I've always wondered why Hijiri was so fond of Kuduo, even though I felt like he wasn't really romantically inlove with him. Although what he did wasn't righteous and that just shows how he and Miyauchi mirror each other so well - doing everything that they can just so the people that they cherish can have their happy ending.
