
Hot take: i actually don't mind the miscarriage plot now. At first i didn't like it and thought it was unnecessary angst to give the ML something to grieve about, but now i see it's also for MC's character development. MC developed into a whole person, not just an "acting parent" like he always was, by being removed from a responsibility that came unexpected again. I can understand why the author made that choice from a storywriter's perspective
I checked ch 1 to see the difference in art and was reminded how strong the starter was. Not that any parts in the middle were less but opening up with a presumably dead body and attempted double suicide is a choice whew
