I started reading the side stories because i was praying there might be a realistic approach to their relationship being confrontational and ending with them living separately and both dealing with their issues and moving on but oh well I expected as much. *sigh*
I know right!? What a waste of a beautiful artstyle fr, the plot being incest is not the issue here but the author could've touched on realistic aspects of trauma and toxic relationship. I would've been so happy if it focused on the side effects of their taboo being brothers and the repercussions of brainwashing and being brainwashed, but the whole story was just a glorified incest porn, it was boring and so out of touch it was borderline delusional lol.
Ohhh you can suck my big fat ballz!(I'm a girl) like miss me with that bullshit horseface
I couldn’t give a shit about a fictional character, but the way you act towards others and fandom is just unacceptable. I’d say I wish you’re a kid, but this story is way too mature to hope for that. But you’re acting like a spoiled child who just learned genital words for the first time. Dick dick balls, guzzle cum, cunt, ass, bitch. You know neither manners nor fandom etiquette. It’s truly quite sad to see.
Fandom? What Fandom? Lmfao bro I simply responded to the person who told me to shut up and called me "ape" which by the way is a slur lots of racist people use. Why should I be polite and respectful to someone who came off aggressive just because I expressed my feelings twards a character? everyone is entiltled to their opinion no?. If you want respect you give it first vice-versa. If you tell a person to shut up and call them apes simply because they insulted your favorite character who is a gaslighting, manipulative, abusive rapist then you're the problem. You going off on a rant because I didn't use pretty words don't make u a saint. I call out bullshit when I see it and give appreciation to characters who deserve it. Hope that gives you perspective
This is literally a “dead dove don’t eat” story. And yes, this site is a fandom space and have a long history of etiquette.
They were in the wrong for using the word “apes”, but to say it was used in a racialised context is clearly wrong. You literally threatened them with sexual violence, how is that better than the very characters you claim to criticise? You’re threatening real people, not fictional characters.
Sexual violence? Lmfao listen they called my ape and a bitch and I responded with the same energy. Then you out here comparing me to a literal abuser & rapist bsff. This has nothing to do with Fandom I simply responded to a single person who greeted me with aggression because they didn't like what I had to say. It's simple as that. I've been on this website and others since bl characters had giant arms and legs built like Frankenstein, I'm also part of so many Fandoms whether it's anime, series, books or movies and I'm always respectful talking to people. But on websites it's diffrent, you comment what you feel like and people downvote or upvote your comment and sometimes engage it's really not that serious to the point you insult a literal person over a fictional character.
It actually is that serious. Fandom etiquette exists for a reason. And now you’re even hating on artists hard work and style and saying it is fine to comment those things. Why do you go out of your way to be unkind to people who have not done anything to you? If you don’t like these stories don’t read them. There are plenty of BL that is SFW and wholesome. Better yet, learn how to make your own and maybe you will learn to appreciate others hard work more so you do not act so entitled.
The characters are not real. But the artists and the fans are. Treat them as such. The internet is also real. It isn’t made up of chatbots. You claim it’s not that serious, that the people you comment hate against won’t get affected, but then act all high and mighty when it comes to things that personally offend YOU.
Pick one. You can’t have the whole cake and eat it too.
Let me set the record straight once and for all. First, I never said half of the insults you quoted as mine. I only said ‘ballz’ and ‘dick’ in response to someone who called me an ‘ape’ and a ‘bitch’ and told me to shut up. The rest the ‘cum, cunt, ass’ being attributed to me were added by you to make it seem like I’m something I’m not. That’s dishonest and a deliberate misrepresentation of what I actually said. My criticism was always about the character’s abusive, manipulative behavior, not the artist or the fans. I respect Mingwa’s work, but being a fan doesn’t mean I have to excuse or like a red flag, abusive character. Responding to aggression with the same energy is not the same as attacking the fandom or the artist it’s defending myself after being insulted. You claim this is ‘serious’ because of fandom etiquette and because artists and fans are real, yet you ignore the fact that the person who insulted me first with slurs got a free pass. Respect works both ways. I didn’t go out of my way to be unkind to anyone I responded to aggression. Criticizing a fictional character isn’t hating on an artist, and it isn’t entitlement it’s a valid reaction. As for your point about plenty of SFW, wholesome BL, and learning to make my own, sarcastic as it was, yes, I’m aware of them. I also understand and appreciate the effort it takes to create content. That doesn’t change my right to comment critically or emotionally on characters I find abusive or toxic, just like anyone else can express their opinions about stories they consume. I can enjoy wholesome BL and respect creators while also calling out problematic content or character when I see it. Criticism does not erase appreciation, and expressing a personal reaction does not make me entitled. I’ve explained myself clearly, I’ve stood by my criticism, and I won’t let exaggerations twist my intentions. If you can’t separate what I actually said from the fictional character I criticized, or think that calling out abuse is equivalent to attacking people, that’s your problem, not mine.
And about your ‘pick one, you can’t have the whole cake’ line thanks for the tip but I'll take the whole cake anyway. I can be a fan, respect the work, call out abuse, and defend myself when insulted. Sorry but enjoying bl and noticing red flags aren't mutually exclusive, and I’m not here to shrink to make you comfortable. I’ve explained myself clearly, stood by my words, and I won’t let exaggerations or misrepresentation twist my intentions. If anything the amount of upvotes and downvotes should tell you who actually understood my point and who took it personally. Apparently, 22 upvotes versus 4 downvotes think that’s a perfectly reasonable slice of fan behavior. Thanks for the chat, and seriously, spare me the follow up messages because i will not respond. lmfao Byeeeee.

Sigh* This could've been avoided so easily, like seriously Enzo could've offered to help Rian out sexual wise since he was drugged and this whole rape thing could've been a consensual experience where Rian hesitates to botom at first but eventually gives in because Enzo turns out to be caring in bed despite his sadistic side which makes Rian feel good and cared. There were so many other oprtunities and Rape shouldn't even have been considered. I'm disappointed.
this literally wouldnt make sense for either of their characters though
not saying that i agree or condone the rape btw just the fact that enzo being caring in bed would be out of character considering how he literally bit the other guy's tongue off and threw rian off a building
And that's an excuse for rape? Just because their world is surrounded by danger don’t mean consent doesn’t exist. What I stated was one of the possibilities the author could've used for sexual scenes. Rape doesn’t mean more tension or drama it has no relevance for a story that DEFINITELY didn't need it. But rape is so common in these types of genres that most of us are desensitized by rape scenes in the bl Verse, so much so we overlook it or think it fits with the scenario of this kinds of plots.
When I say caring I don't mean him whispering sweet nothings and being gentle. When i said "Cared for" in this specific scene, I'm talking about Enzo being his usual self but also tending to Rian, not forcing himself on him but rather make it consensual. Consent. That's the major issue here, Enzo could've done worse than this and most of us wouldn't have a problem with it.
