Y'all, if SH assaults NK next chapter, I'll be definitely done with this story. So far in S2, whenever we lost faith in SH, the author surprised us with a plot twist and she made him back up from hurting NK. So I am hopeful he won't hurt NK in any ways. He could not even look at him crying because it affected him. The best option at this point would be to set NK free and ask him to leave thinking that's what he really wants. Ironically, that would be the ultimate proof of SH's character development. I am not expecting a miraculous back to senses from SH or a sudden brave speech from NK next chapter. It's more likely that they will be distant until SH knows the truth about the kidnapping from someone... As long as he does not hurt or abuse NK in the meanwhile, I will be patient with all the plot dragging.
What are the chances next chapter will be mainly about Jihwa and Tarzan making out rather than SH and NK having a proper conversation? The last thing we need right now is extra romance that will take panel space from the protagonists. I want to see NK character development ASAP and have the two finally getting along and having a peaceful relationship before shit strikes again with In-Hun, Min or SH's father!! Please Byeonduck, just make the coming December chapters a pure delight and make us all happy with such a beautiful Christmas gift <3

The last two chapters (27-28) are so heartwarming! I read them at once and it literally made my day. The last one in particular is the typical chapter you'd like to read with a cup of tea and chocolate cookies under a blanket on a rainy/snowy day near the fireplace. So pure and cute (▰˘◡˘▰) Again, I read the raws in Spanish and used Google Lens app to translate the dialogues. Here's roughly what happened:

Max and Chris visit an apartment for rent and Max loves it so he decides they will take it although it's double the price they agreed on. Chris tells him he can't afford it and Max replies that he should not worry about that. He will take care of it. They rent it and move in the same day.
They have dinner and Chris decides to make his homework but Max has other plans in mind, haha. He is scandalized that Chris does not want to have sex with him on their first night in their new apartment so he steals Chris books and runs on a their bed, like a grumpy kid xD Chris, all confused, runs after him to get back his stuff and seeing Max so serious, he starts to laugh like crazy. Max is amazed by Chris laughs because it's the first time he sees him so happy and laughing out loud.
They are both turned on and they end up making love very passionately!! After sex, we see them both in the bathtub. Chris is embraced from behind by Max. They talk about Thanksgiving and Max tells Chris that he won't be visiting his family because he's not talking with them anymore. Chris asks Max to come with him at his parents house but hey should keep their relationship a secret. Max teases him about that and they kiss again. Next panel, they are both hugging tenderly while sleeping on their new bed. The day after, we see them together in campus at a study table. Max family is spying on them and taking pictures. They now know that Max is dating Chris so shit is about to happen! :((((

Didn't Mr M say that they're going to write the location of the dead body of that rival group member on the back of a pic of Chris and Max and send it to the group?! I could be wrong but I took that to mean that they're going to try to force Max to show what his family makes him do in front of Chris. That or Mr M is trying to actually get him killed. Because he also mentioned something about his dad...like that he wouldn't do anything to Max because he's his only son. I couldn't get that part well.
Yeah, I went over it again and that's what happened. They're gonna write the location of the body on their picture and send it to the rival group to reveal them, wtf. The translation was fucky with whatever the other guy in the car said so Idk why Mr M mentions that Mr. Mojave won't allow Max to be killed.

Can't believe it took the author more than 20 chapters to build up the kidnapping scenario just to twist that plot in the most unexpected way. I just can't understand what crossed her mind! What was the point? Nameless could have fucked Jihwa way earlier and the aborted kidnapping could have happened like 10 chapters ago. Is it to make NK suffer even more? Will SH treat him like shit once again? Or is it to make NK realize his feelings for SH so they will finally communicate properly next chapters?!?! Damn, I am so lost oO
Jihwa changed his mind when he finally, finally realized that SH would never reciprocate his feelings (especially after what he's done--about the letter thingy 58 or 59?). That was the major turning point why Jihwa and no name didnt follow thru the murder. I think this goes to show that there is actually a bigger problem waiting for SH and NK
That was reeally anticlimatic, I thought so. For all the build up to this kidnapping, I was expecting way more. I really hope the author doesn't make the misuderstanding drag on for too long or it will truly be unbearable for me... Nakyum has to talk and Seungho has to understand him, it's just communicating and should be simple, but I fear the author is gonna drag this for some time and we'll be stuck seeing Seungho treating Nakyum like shit.

But yeah, I think the latter is the main reason. And also, there has to be more, like you've said. Since this whole idea was Min's, who's not just going to go about his day after his face got battered by Seungho, he's probably going to take the lead now, after Jihwa gave up. It looks like he prefers to act as grey eminence, but he might get proactive now.
I think perhaps it wasn't the actual kidnapping that was going to be the main event, but the aftermath. Nakuym is going to talk, there's no way he won't mention what happened.
Hearing that, imagine what Seungho might think and do.

Yes, hopefully he will believe him! And hopefully, NK will finally be able to open up and tell SH how he does care about him as well. This will so many chapters again... I wish I could wait for few weeks before reading the new chapters but I just don't have the patience. I hooked.
The murder plot was pointless but not unexpected. It was pretty clear from the start how it was going to end.

I am not sure I get it right but is Minhyuk sincerely concerned about Soo-Young? He is worried something bad will happen to him. He finds himself caring for someone for the first time, it seems. It looks like he is trying to protect him at all cost even tho he is jealous of his relationship with the boss. If so, then why everybody here is pissed at him? I must've missed something. Please enlighten me :)))

Yep, he is hot AF! I first thought he was a jerk but it seems he just fell in love with Soo-Young and does not know how to deal with it because it never happened to him before. He is slowly realizing that the boss also cares a lot for Soo-Young and that's why he is acting kinda weird. It's like he is putting all the pieces of the puzzle one by one. So far, nothing shocking and certainly nothing to be pissed at. I simply don't understand why people are insulting him here oO
I feel the same way. I think he actually cares about Soo Young and will protect him at all cost, just like the boss will. I think Soo Young is the first person he feels this way about so he gets INTENSE when anyone endangers him. Although I think his endgame will be Do Jin hyung (the host boss). He’s the only one who gets Min Hyuk other than Big Boss.
