There are 3 main ghosts haunting Lee Nok, the birde, the starving man and the child, am I right? Now two of them have been freed and were able to go peacefully to the afterworld. Does that mean the child ghost is the last one remaining? I guess it will be their next challenge but it also means the story is nearing the end. Although there's still the old man who is after Jeashin to avenge his son's death and finally the queen's decline. Does anybody know how many seasons this BL will have? Has it been announced by the author at some point? As much as I want to see the end of the evil queen I am not sure I am ready to say goodbye to Nok & Jeashin
I also hope they save the younger prince from his mother. And yes! I'm hoping there are some wonderful extras of Nok & Jeashin :)

Yes he is. After his wife and kids died from poisoning, the Dr. told Nok & Jaeshin that Jong Dal locked himself in the house for days and no one has ever heard from him after that. I guess he starved himself to death since he couldn't bare the pain & the guilt of losing his entire family. He was the one who brought the food home after all. Such a sad story. It was even worse than the bride and her fiance. We better brace ourselves for the child's story. I'm expecting it to be the most terrible :((((

I think this writer got caught up in all the hate comments she got for writing these static characters and doubled down on them. She forgot to include any kind of nice moments that would make people think this couple has a chance because she already knew they'd be together regardless.
It sucks that she let people influence her into diminishing her story.

Even in the darkest BLs there's always a bit of balance in the seme's behavior. There's usually SA and verbal abuse but after few chapters, the seme shows some kind of affection or is being suddenly protective. There's none of this here. Jk is despicable and it just gets worse there's not a single sign of self-questionning. That's why making Dan fall for him so early in the story makes the whole thing laughable. There's not even pleasure in their sex scenes. He's just being tortured physically and verbally and that naive creature miraculously falls for the monster. I thought this author was more talented than this. I truly liked BJ Alex :/

It's just crazy how LZH is so much behind for the English translation. It's been months since the first season ended. And we're talking here about a very popular BL. Then we are to blame for not buying the official chapters in English? Wow! They're literally ruining the artists with the worst commercial strategy ever. I do the same. But I wait for the whole BL to be completed. However I only do it with very few ones that I enjoyed the most. If they did simultaneous translation and release, I would have happily paid for every single chapter right when it's updated and I would've done it for many more BLs I like at the present time. It's surprising how the artists are not contesting LZH's stupid methods

We've had some many chapters with Shin and Jake apart from each other I lost count. I hope they'll meet again next chapter although having Jake coming to save them seems a bit too cliché

The poor kid got hit with another bullet from Ross. It's in his arms so I think he'll survive again but I too hope he'll be out of the picture soon. The thing is that Shin lost his trust in Jake, so he's convinced Gren was right since the beginning and he regrets treating him the way he did. He wants to make amends. I think we're gonna have a bit more chapters with Gren the nuisance :///

I enjoy the plot so much but I must confess I feel a bit of frustration over the author's decision to keep Shin & Jake apart for so long. I know it's needed for the storyline but damn, this is the last season and we're gonna be deprived of their interactions for maybe half of it. I'm not even asking abt steamy chapters or anything here just make them fight & scream at eachother, I'll be fine with it. Please when are they seeing eachother again

This chapter was first released early October right at the start of fall. I remember I was mesmerized by the artist's genius touch with the color palette. She picked the most beautiful autumn shades for the outfits and the landscapes in correlation with the actual season. The general atmosphere of this chapter and the next one are so unique. Almost mystical. I felt totally immersed with them in that scary abandoned village. Reading the correct translation makes this experience even more memorable

Oh its going to get worse, takes a long time for ML to be somewhat normal... Garon does not feel emotions. He understands them, he just doesn't feel it and doesn't care about anyone else. His possession was touched, he touches it to overwrite it - it's just gross. We're in for a bit of a break from the dynamic soon at least.
I won't find rest until this BL is rated 9.9 on this website. If there's one that deserves it, it's definitely Shutline. And to think LZHIN didn't put Jake/Shin on their promotional campaign of 2025 next to all the other BL characters. Shame :///
