y'all be complaining about the ml showing interest in her and that he had no right to do so but y'all hear yourselves? she was at fault too, she let her trauma take over her and didn't do a thing and scared to hurt her child, now she'd been facing the ml its obvious that she would pique his attention

Ngl you caught me in the first sentence. But how can someone except a person to be so strong so as to not let their trauma take over, like if they are that strong then they'll obviously not be traumatized in the first place. But yeah, people here are perfectly capable of going through the comment section and read the spoilers regarding the actual villain, the FL's dad. Like the ML is a literal victim too. So hating on him is completely wrong.

I think people can be traumatized and not let it control their life. Being traumatized has nothing to do with strength, but how you handle it has everything to do with the coping mechanisms you've been taught and your personality. This is totally unrelated to the story, just wanted to give my two cents on your comment

I understand what your saying but trauma is very difficult to get over or not let it control you, depending on what it is and the type of person. Maybe if you went through something, you'll be able to get through it but not everyone is like that. We can also see the fl trying here and the ml helping her as well in the second life and that's hows it's like- to keep trying. My friend went through something terrible (assualt) and I can see it still affects her to this day. I support but I never tell her to get over it because it's just not easy. It takes time.

Also like you mentioned before and the comment above you, most of the time you need support. Learning coping techniques might not be accessible or easy for everyone. My friend went to see a a health professional two times and they were crap so she didn't want to go again. After coaxing and supporting, she decided to give it chance and try a new professional and now she's getting better (little by little). Maybe because I have people around me struggling with trauma, I feel empathetic towards the fl. To me, she's making great progress in the 2nd life. Also I don't hate the ml at all- I read the spoilers and it sucks what the dad dis. I hope the dad gets what he deserves on the end!

I'm sorry to hear that about your friend, I know its not easy. You brought up some good points, but I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I wasn't implying that trauma is easy to get over with the correct coping mechanisms or a certain personality type. I was just noting that it is POSSIBLE to be traumatized and still appear to be unaffected (as a response to someone elses comment). Perhaps I didn't word it well, but just because someone appears to be functioning well and is handling their responsibilties doesn't mean they've gotten over their trauma. But again, as you said, how people are affected and cope with trauma is different based on a multitude of factors

can someone spoil me? I'm super annoyed by that matachi or something,, someone tell me if they're be friends again or else im gonna drop this,, I don't like fact that he's not dead yet

Ok so...this is long as shit but in an attempt to save you from dropping... bare with me
I wouldn't say Matahachi ever lost friendship with takezo in the first place. The bitterness of their friendship was mostly just one sided by matahachi. i also wouldn't rec dropping it bc of him either. Matahachi's character is meant to portray the undying sense of uselessness and inferiority that comes when being next to something considered the best(Takezo). You may hv noticed, but whenever hes with takezo, no one ever rlly looks at him. Otsu, his own fiance, clearly loves takezo, not him. Oko didnt even like matahachi at first, she wanted takezo. Even his mom, who unconditionally cares for him, obsesses over takezo as well. Matahachi internalized this and is desperately trying to escape the feeling of inferiority nearly the entire manga(which is why he takes kojiros name, bc with it he felt equal to takezo). He isn't a bad guy at heart, he cares for his friends(For ex when he attempts to save takezo when he was fighting the yoshioka school and takes him back, saying how amazing takezo was, or later when he tells otsu to make a move on takezo). In a way, hes relatable, bc everyone wants to be a better person, he just isnt aware of the right way to achieve it. (He does get better i swear)
also dont drop it bc you'll miss the part where takezo fights 70 men at once, its fucking cool.

Its not officially dropped yet. Its on an extended hiatus,(which isnt uncommon for this author when it comes to vagabond)but as of now, he also hasnt shown any signs of working on it again for more than a year, so ppl are saying its dropped. Regardless of whether its really dropped or not, its still pretty good and i rec reading it- for the experience if anything.
could someone please tell me if she revealed that she's from the modern world,, im scared of what would be his reaction so i stopped reading it for a while, the part where she was feeling guilty for having lie to him
Yes, she finally confesses and he doesn't take it badly at all. He was shocked for like 5 seconds and then accepted it and her
Which chapter did she confess in? Her real Identity I mean ✧(>o<)ノ✧
