I bet they're split like us, but when it comes to story changes it's always best for the publisher to have a set in stone ending from the get-go. So I highly doubt their preference for Jooin will impact anything.
Of course, they probably wouldn't admit whether or not the ending did change due to high demand.

I doubt they’ll admit if they changed the story due to reader pressure, but I was hoping someone might fill us in with gossips (⌒▽⌒) Anyhow, at this point I’m just thinking that the author will pull a fast one on us, and Cain will eventually end up with Jooin lololol (I don’t have much hope that will actually happen, but one can dream)
