Honestly it just isn’t that good. In the beginning I liked it bc being a teenage girl can be difficult and sometimes doing stuff for your outer appearance can boost your confidence no shame in that. BUT I hate how she’s made her whole life abt love like your 17 girl idk why you’re skipping school for five months. I get your heartbroken but they dated for like 2 months, what’s the point of ruining your education. Also Naru’s friend that’s a girl actually has no idea what a relationship looks like. He cheated and choose to cheat it doesn’t matter if he regrets it or not. He broke her trust and heart. But even more so I don’t like the MC I feel like we’ve gone through a lot as readers and she hasn’t really developed besides thinking. I wanna find love and then she gets with her childhood friend just to break things off so soon it just all feels super rushed and weird. And the casual adult and minor relationship was crazy. The story made it seem like it was bad cuz he wasn’t being considerate of her opinions or choices like HELLO it’s wrong cuz she’s literally a high schooler and ur an adult. If you’re looking for a good shoujo I don’t recommend. Tenyuu is a really good ml imo but I think it should have stuck with them being friends and bonding over makeup. There are more things to life than a bf and it feels like mc has no other personality besides finding a bf and having low self-esteem. Her brother is nice now but are we forgetting he threw a whole plate at her in the first chapter???
