The new guy is Ken's childhood friend before he moved and met Kirara. The new guy wants to be friends with Ken again. Ken told him to forget it and leave him alone. Kirara asked if the new guy knows Aniki and he gave an odd reaction. If anything, then probably a ship between Aniki and the new guy.

Yes it felt rushed but I am actually so glad the rape was addressed at all. There are so many mangas where rape happens for most part and the uke falls in love anyway and they just brush it off as is nothing. I also felt like didn't go further with it because is so clear Nemu forgave Maya long ago and he said it himself and showed it in how we saw he falling more and more for Maya. I did appreaciate seeing Maya feeling guilty and bad about it, was wrong but I also like to see they will just move foward because their relationship developed and became really beautiful and a lot healthier.
