In the first life and the present, the silver haired guy loved the princess. He treated jeannette as a sister and he was kind of forced to marry jeannette which is so sad for him lol jeannette kind of forced it on him too and you can kind of see it in this life too. And im still confused as to why jeannette didn't do anything to stop the princess' death in the first life? She knew it wasn't her that poisoned the tea so why didn't she say anything?? This is just my two cents and i know some people really like jeannette and i can kind of understand that but i just cant bring myself to like her

Everyone is making excuses for her because she's shelter but not speaking up to protect her "sister" from being kill made me not like her. I get that she's naive and innocent yet as a noble she is educated and has some sense of the world around her. She can easily pick up a book and learn about the world around her and society in some frame has taught her to learn some social etiquette. I mean she can't be that stupid. But yeah I don't like her at all, she was lead by the noise and accepted everything around her without question. I get that she wanted a family and love and acceptance but she already had a version of it with the white hair kid. But she's greedy and wanted the king and princess to accept her when in reality "love childs" aren't accepted in those circles. She must've had some doubt that they wouldn't accept her and she never tried to make the best of things. Instead she just allowed herself to be used as a tool. Such a waste honestly
Ok if they actually are blood related then the younger brother is right about how they should stop seeing each other but i really hate how patriarchal the family is. When they were kids and they kissed each other only she was punished while he didn't get punished for anything, even now she knows that if they were to run away she would be the one getting punished and not him. And you might say that its patriarchal because it was in the medieval ages but incest was also pretty normalized back then lol
right. I've read somewhere that in ancient time it's normal to get married with their own blood relatives. even twins married each other because the clan want to keep their pure bloodline (such ridiculous thing cause the baby to have some kind of problem)
