Okay as much as I liked this, it had a bit of a stale ending to me because Elise got no character development and in my opinion no real personality. She was forever the blonde do gooder, the doctor that always succeeded and the optimistic FL. Like not once did she have a thought to question her moral compass, while the ML had a BUNCH of these thoughts. I feel like a good chance for the authors to do that was wasted. She could have went on the moral question of "is it right to save one murderer who goes on to kill 30 innocents" or something akin to that but she just didn’t....she never even failed ONE surgery which in my opinion was not only unrealistic but didn’t make her mature

I think the author did try to do that in the arc where she had to choose to save people between two different parties. But she ended up saving both of them, so it might seem unrealistic. However, I think this is the kind of story you go in knowing Elise is more than capable as a doctor.
Besides that, I don't think she needed a moral dilemma. She was mainly a static main character because it was the people around her that needed to develop. She's already retained the memories of her past two lives and suffered many challenges there. The author sets this up in the beginning to show that Elise as a character has maxed out in development, and now as the audience, we will see how she lives the same life again as a fully developed character without needing to go through any internal dilemma.

But I felt like it was a just a bit STALE because of that. Like after 100 chapters she never once had ONE intruding thought? Ik she wasn’t the one who was meant to have trauma or anything but with everyone changing and evokving around her and her just staying the same it just didn’t seem right to me.

Lemme just say I did thus very bland. I’ve read dozens of reincarnations webtoons and read a pretty wide spread. This is bad for so many reasons. 1- the premise of her reincarnation and re awakening is stupid as hell. So she didn’t come from like a modern world, but another medieval type world, where she was a commoner and then read a book and was reincarnated into the book. I personally don’t really like that but it gets worse in my opinion when she recovers her memory from being pushed down the stairs by her step sister, and somehow just regains these memories (and ofc no injuries). 2. When realizing she’s a reincarnate she makes it her job to try and contact the princess bc she wants to establish that she’s not mentally ill. So she takes out a pretty regular comb. She ends up giving it to the prince to give it to his sister and he mentions how it’s rare and expensive. Mind u she just RANDOMLY pulled it out of a draw. And then later On at a ball the princess said that it’s "rare, expensive and not even she could get a hold of it" bc it was by a famous craftsmen. SO HOW TF DOES SHE HAVE IT IF HER FATHER DIED YEARS AGO AND HER STEP MOM WONT EVEN LET HER HAVE A NICE DRESS AND SHE HAS NO MONEY OF HER OWN? During the same time she pulled out the comb she mentioned that all her maids were from her step mom and don’t care about her or would leak info; and she said she needs to get people of her own (with what money idk). AND THEN A COUPLE CHAPTERS LATER SHE HAS THIS MAID THAT SHE TRUSTS ALL OF A SUDDEN- LIKE WHERE AND WHO DID SHE COME FROM. [A minor stupid thing that annoyed me that’s not too crazy is that she was invited to tea by the princess, and then the emperor and prince literally showed up out of fucking no where. Like huh? And then the fucking emperor invited her to dinner? And then prince asks her to marry him in the garden, like WHAT?]
After this, it went smooth for a while but what caused me to drop this is when she and the bodyguard (an assassin for an information guild) go to Blacktowm or something. Blacktowm is ruled by the demon race and she said she remembers the prince (I think he’s prince?) being the antagonist. She said she liked him as a villain. So fastfoward she’s getting mugged by an opposing information guild- somehow the fucking prince of demons just shows up in a random ally and saves her life (not heroically but still). And even tho he hears she knows something about magic stones (which are extremely valuable to demons) instead of questironing her, he just lets her leave and banishes her? As the body guard/assassin is warning her to be wary of him bc he’s dangerous she’s just like "but I would love to talk to him

River SHOULD have said; don’t kill the people, burn down her temples and all the plants! I think that would have went over smoother

Yes, but that’s the strategy Lari has been taking. Her power is directly connected to the environment, so followers give her even MORE power but the environment is the core of that power. That being said, burning temples makes it harder for people to give tribute and pray to her (like she did with the gods that wouldn’t follow her) and burning major forest will weaken her power. We know this bc the reason why she’s on this rampage now is bc humans were destroying the Earth and it was hurting her.

I really feel like y’all don’t got siblings.... do you really think that she’s thinking about it that way. It’s kinda clear that Ashley does get treated different (the fact that she really has no chores, she gets introduced first at parties, the mother tries to set her up with the prince, and wants her to dress as a princess while the others are fairies). Ofc we know that it’s bc her education is lacking (and that she thinks she’s Cinderella), but why would her siblings think that way as well? Obviously they love her, but that doesn’t stop the jealousy. They literally get compared to her all the time, bc they’re not as pretty as she is. And even if they knowMildred loves them the same, she kinda makes them feel inferior to her

Bro it’s the way they sit here an practically bully LILLY and like socially push her away bc of how she looks. And they sit here and think they’re such friends bc they were hanging out with him before everyone knew he was hot; when they were LITERALLY just his friends bc they realized he was an idol? And then they try to sit here and push blame on lily when she has never spoken a damn word to them. And then they STILL think they’re good friends when they were apart of the people who hyped up the class to make him sing, broke his glasses, and are trying to get into his personal life when he has stated that Lily hasn’t done anything to him at least 3 times. And the infatuation that EVERYONE has over Kiyu is really fucking weird, like they’re starting to get mad at the people he hangs out with. LIKE WTF. YOU WANT KIYU’S "friends” TO BACK OFF NOW THAT HES HOT??? But y’all didn’t want to talk to him when he has glasses. Like the people here are really fucking weird

right and it made me rage when they act like they are such good people for not telling anybody how he looked like when they were the one who spread rumours about him being an idol and calling him a bother when he was upset about it. they are so disgusting and i hope that kiyu would find better friends. he deserves better
I’m sorry half are y’all are weird asf....wow after 70 chapters of kidnapping and raping he gave him head!!! Like Ik we are all weak to his hotness but just because he asked him one time for consent dire not mean he deserves to be forgiven and deserves a happy ending with Nakyum. And honestly Nakyum is showing signs of Stockholm syndrome and I really don’t take his consent for consent. He was preyed on when he was desperate and lonely and fucking MANIPULATED time and time again to the point where he craves sex and that HE was apologizing for being RAPED. Like if Seungho was duly or looked any different this comment section would have been drastically different. At the end of the day no matter what personal problems Seungho has he’s a fucking rapist and does not deserve to have a "happy ending" with his victim just because he asked for consent once. End of discussion.
I mean at this point i don't even expect anything from Seungho
I get what you’re saying but relax bruh it’s just a manhwa
so... you do not agree with seungho's actions and nakyum's opinions, but you are still here reading the webtoon?
Exactly if you don’t like the book just stop reading it
i understand what u mean but its just weird cause there are more worst bitch than Seungho but they still 4give them and dont get me wrong i dont also like him but Seungho has a mental dis 2
If you don't like the comment stop reading it
First of all if all people would only do right things there would be no story, no one is saying that what he did to nakyum was right or ok, its not like he himself pretended it didnt happen, in fact he said that he was wrong and lowered himself as a way to show he is remorseful, altho before he did that to no one. I will say this again, i do not approve his actions in previous chapters, but i do approve him changing his ways and doing better for once.
I was just reading through the comments to see what people were thinking and I just came across that comment and I decided to read it I’m not saying that I don’t agree with them I’m just trying to say if you’re just going to spread hate on a book or strongly dislike how the characters are to the point it makes you really uncomfortable don’t read it or if you want take a break from it and read it when things get better
I agree I’m glad he’s acknowledging how horrible he treated Nakyum
Girl who tf said I didn’t like the story I SAID that just bc he asked for consent he don’t desevere to end up w/ Nakyum. 2. I KNEW some try hard was gonna say "it’s just a manwha"- okay? It’s my opinion on a manwha, like of course I’m gonna try and better understand and disagree with characters and actions.....3. Having a mental illness ain’t got shut to do with rapping and kidnapping. Sorry not sorry it doesn’t excuse any actions. 4. Okay he’s showing he’s sorry by asking for consent (which is flawed in its own way but we ain’t gonna get into that) but honestly his character STILL doesn’t deserve a happy ending. That’s that.
Right acting as if I’m bashing the manwha not the character. If u love a rapist, just say dat.
Crazy thing.... I like the manwha. A lot of y’all cannot distinguish not liking a main character from disliking manwha. Moving on I don’t feel uncomfortable reading about sexual harassment or rape, that don’t mean I think the rapist should get a happy ending.... like just 6 chapters ago he was fucking angry raping him because he got kidnapped. This just shows how low the bar is
I agree he doesn’t deserve a happy ending rape is not something you can just brush off I just wanna see how Seungho acts and whether he’ll show any signs of changing sorry if I sounded arrogant when I said if you don’t like the book don’t read it I misunderstood what you said and I just wanna make it clear that I don’t support how Seungho has constantly raped Nakyum
b-but if you dont like the main character's character and actions, which constitutes to almost the whole flow of the story plot, then what else do you like about the manhwa? the art style?
No no no! Personally if is sounded harsh as well I apologize, I just do not like it how everyone is sitting here making me sound crazy for not supporting a rapist. But personally your comment was the most respectful and whatnot so I’m sorry if I came off harsh as well.
I said exactly what I said. I like the manwha and his actions interest me but Na-Kyum should not end up with a rapist. Like how hard is it to understand. Same way plenty of people don’t or didn’t like Sungwoo in Killing stalking but still liked the manwha. And actually the art style is very beautiful and unique, I’m interested in feudal Japan and I like N’a-Kyum. So yes I do like other things about the manwha as well.
