When he said "I used to have this older neighbor" I was like Oh God I hope it’s not what I think it is, then I saw the neighbor and I was like "ha he probably just had a crush on him or something, Thank God it’s not what I thought it was" AND THEN ITS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS. what’s even worse is that it’s perfectly normal for young children to be curious about their bodies and what makes them feel good. Like almost all children touch themselves and they think it’s something bad because the adults in their life are too uncomfortable to teach them what to actually do or what they’re feeling. And honestly I hate his mom too because she was too embarrassed that this happened that she didn’t even allow him to get ducking HELP. He’s been molested by a neighbor since he was a fucking toddler and now you’re worried about there not being any hospital record? Not only did u fail to protect him once (I don’t want to completely blame her for not knowing he was being molested because he seemed to be a trusted neighbor but at the same time she ducking FAILED at her job of a parent) she somehow made it worse by ignoring his pain for appearances. This is CRAZY. I had low faith in him since last week and then the comments defending him made me change my mind. And now he did THIS. Like how dare he when he knows that Rye barely had feelings for him as a friend and he was the only one obsessing over old memories. ESPECIALLY when he knows he has a boyfriend and a successful career that dictates his personal life. And imma be even madder if the companies make them act like they’re dating for the sake of publicity.

Okay basically we WERE in a flashback inside of a flashback. The first flashback (that this chapter is showing) is showing us this they first met. In the beginning of this arc we see them at their jobs field week or whatever and we see snake and chicken getting along and always bumping into each other. Then on one of the last nights of like job a big commotion happens at the diner and both chicken snake go outside to breathe and end up talking. A this is where the start if the SECOND flashback begins. Chicken and snake are talking about the commotion that happens at the diner (about how people can just turn their backs on u easily, which is what happened to their co-worker which caused the commotion). At this limit snake tells chicken a story about his "friend" [himself] and what happened to him in the snake clan (basically everyone was nice to him bc his grandfather favored him and once something happened they all turned their backs on him and whatnot) and then the second flashback into snakes memories ends. This is where I assume they had a miscommunication and started to dislike each other, because snake said "I hate that ur a goody two shoes" and chicken seems to take that to heart and insukts him back and stœchiométrie off (very cutely I might add). So to clarify a little bit more; this arc started when snake signed chicken up for a "field trip" or something AWAY from the office because there’s rumors about someone sleeping with a boss. (Everyone assumes it’s Ivan but obviously it’s chicken.) so Ivan is trying to protect chicken from the rumors but chicken just knew he signed him up for the trip w/o telling him. From what I remember they were talking about how Ivan doesn’t need to protect chicken; and then they stated reminiscing WHICH LED TO ALL OF THIS

No no no babe, I really don’t think it’s ur translations that are bad. Like the English was perfectly understandable to me, it think at least more so for me that there is a REALLLLLLLLLY complex plot going on. I never thought that the translation was bad more so that the author is putting a lot of plot in at one time. I am extremely appreciative that u picked this up because someone definitely dropped this for a long time, I would very much like if u keep updating!

Honestly a 6.5/10. I was literally;l’y about to drop it but then I saw some smut . Her promotions make absolutely no sense, especially for a warrior she’s somehow thinner and has less muscles mass than everyone? I find her unfaltering loyalty kind of stupid (especially since they gave a piss poor reason for it. Like it had to be a last minute thing they thought up). Annoying hue everyone just treats her as the prince’s next lay (but it kind of fits into the story ig). I hated the scene with the emperor bc it was extremely underwhelming, we didn’t see any of the castle really and he somehow just ended up weeping with her? And then the whole engagement dress and super expensive/rare jewels thing left a sour taste in my mouth. Like she’s so weak and pitiful fir the "barbaric war commander" she even let herself be cornered by some random viscount because she didn’t want to "make trouble".

Oh lord trying to read this translation is like trying to read my calculs homework.... very unlikely that I will decode it
