The last couple pages broke my heart. The way Demi looked so heart broken omg.
Dude’s got a point though. Just bc he is the first person to show you “guidance” doesn’t mean you should trust them wholeheartedly. He is also a hero in the previous world for a reason. If he gets into an undesireable situation I’m sure he’ll be able to work something out

why hasn't the oppa been using his powers to subjugate the help into doing actual work?

???
I don't think they ever explained the rules of the game. how do you know this? also...he can just try to find proof that they were embezzling the money. he has a shadow thing that he can manipulate I'm sure he can find the ledger in their quarters
even if it's not an open threat....he can make their lives miserable.
there's just so much. he's underutilizing his power and position.

It’s in the novel. And he’s not in the position to look out for others. He’s basically a slave with a little privilege, until he wins he’ll be seen as less than human. That’s why lancel and janine get away with this crap. Even if he treats her like shit, shell be replaced and there’s no guarantee that the next person will be better. Besides she stays out of his way most of the time. That seems to be fine for him.

I love that all of them are instinctively falling for her baby charms despite them knowing she's a fully grown woman on the inside.

Has it been stated in the story that Shrei knows her true identity? Because it seemed like he had no idea about her curse when he was talking to their adoptive father about her. And the reason why I think he doesn't know is the way he's reacting to her (and what his adoptive father muttered about the failed cure). I don't doubt that your pint of view is a common sense way of thinking, but Shrei's reactions just speak to me that he is not fully knowledgeable about our MC.
Reincarnated into a novel lol.
More like shifting realities. Damn. I feel sorry for him. I hope he gets the courage to apologize to the dude
